“I was impressed with the updated amenities at the Sierra Inn! The beds were very comfortable and once you closed the door, you couldn’t hear any road noise. It was also very nice to walk around to the back of the Inn to the river and find an abundance of comfy chairs, picnic tables, firepits and bbq ‘s to enjoy. We will be back!”

“Isolated location but convenient for hiking, fishing, etc. Cottages are well constructed and comfortable. Try to get one a bit away from the restaurant. Good choice for younger travelers looking to enjoy the outdoors; not so much for older people with any mobility issues.”

“I would stay here again. It’s close enough to everything. I really liked how the building to get to your rooms was locked and you needed your room key to get in. They do have someone in the office 24/7 if needed. Even though this is on the main road, you do not hear the traffic at all.”

“Super cute cabin vibe! Perfect for our little trio!!! Close to multiple restaurants! Beach Hut Deli, a cute little bakery and close to downtown! The firepit areas was so cute and peaceful. Awesome place to stay!”

“The best thing about this hotel is the location! It’s surrounded by nature and absolutely stunning. There is a burger joint next door and it’s only 25 min away from Meeks bay! The rooms are small and cozy. The set up makes it easy to store luggage’s , etc. my only compliant is the rooms do need better cleaning. We had spider webs/spiders on the ceiling. Beds are comfortable! Bathroom is a cute set up. If you don’t mind quaint and cozy this is a good hotel to stay with!”

“My husband and I specifically made a 3 night reservation at the Kit Carson Lodge over the 4th of July weekend because we were told by an employee over the phone that the room included a microwave and a fridge, plates and cutlery That was not true. We arrived with multiple perishables and cooked food, o find out, upon arrival, that there were neither plates & cutlery NOR a microwave NOR a fridge.
