“Nicely updated property.
Was well maintained except that the room was only cleaned on request. We stayed for 6 days and had to ask for cleaning/towels on the 3rd day. They were supposed to be doing it every 2nd day, but nope. They probably would not have serviced the room at all if i hadn’t asked.
The TVs in the rooms are worthless. Bring your own. Yes, I know how that sounds. All the HDMI ports have physical locks so don’t bring a Roku to catch up on shows, and they locked screen casting...

“The staff was so nice and for how old this hotel is they keep it up well. We had a room right by a table outside of our door which meant early in the morning, late at night, and trying to take a nap during the day you could hear people talking. For that reason I give it a 3 star. If you want a quiet place I wouldn’t consider this place. But overall it was a good stay. ”

“The one reason to stay here is it is walkable to the Catalina island boat landing if you are planning a day trip there (which is why I rated it a 2 rather than a 1) The hotel itself is very run down and poorly maintained. For example, the elevator inspection is expired, the breakfast is mostly stale and the walls in the shower were coming apart. ”
