Great place

Super!
We had a great family gathering over Family Day weekend at The Bowser Beach House. The home was clean and well appointed with the all our needs. It had ample comfortable space for lounging and family activities. There is a small set of shops within walking distance where we found a small but decent grocery store, a cafe and a gift shop.

Great house
Loved the house.. super clean well appointed . Kitchen had everything .. The tv needs a remote rework and updated . Krystal came and assisted us . instructions would be helpful . We did arrive and the oven was broken . it would have been nice if they had given us a heads up as our meals were oven geared .. but the bbq worked for us .. loved the place 😀

Nice place
Nice place. Clean and spacious and had everything we needed. I should have researched location/beach more as we ended up driving every day to nicer beaches. The beach here was very rocky (rocks not pebbles) that my toddlers couldn’t walk unassisted on. But that is on me. Owner had great communication. The neighbors were very friendly.

Bowser Trip
Great location. Lovely property, very close to the beach. House is very spacious and well maintained. Only concern was towels, they must be professionally cleaned. We tried laundering it, but still could not get the smell out. Otherwise a great vacation, and would stay again.

Loved it
Great location. We spent 3 days making day trips to local attractions. The house was very well stocked and my kids loved the toy room! We loved walking to the beach and collecting shells every morning. Very quiet and peaceful.

Bliss in Bowser
This home was everything we had hoped for - and more! The house itself is beautiful with a great view of the private beach. It is fully outfitted with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The beds and pillows were comfy and there is a large TV in the living room - perfect for watching movies and hockey. I fully recommend the Bowser Beach House.

Family Getaway
Communication was great with the host, the location was wonderful with easy access to a number of great island attractions. Had one small issue with propane running out in the bbq but was very quickly rectified. Space was wonderful for the whole family. Overall a great place to stay and great location. Saw many animals off the beach including otters, seals and even a coupme Orcas. Thank you

Sister's Retreat
My three sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The loft area was a perfect space for crafting. The living room was nice and cosy for visiting while the kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals. We had a couple of nice days and enjoyed a walk on the beautiful beach. A perfect Sister's Retreat!

Best beach house ever
Bowser Beach is cozy, comfortable, and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and the house had everything we needed. Our toddler had so much fun with the toys provided and I loved lounging on the deck watching the ocean. We walked along the rocky beach and collected oysters. Thank you for such a lovely stay, we definitely will come back and stay longer.

Wonderful
The location is super because there are many interesting places to visit within a half hours drive. We discovered Nymph Falls from a response in the Guest Book. The beach is steps away, but bring water shoes…it’s rocky. The home is very comfortable.

Beach retreat
Located in a small cul de sac of beach properties this beach house offered a great place to unwind. We enjoyed evening fires and dark skies in a large house just steps from the beach. Upstairs offers a great soaker tub and downstairs the wrap around windows offered great views. Quiet community with many great trails to explore and great shopping opportunities nearby .

Breath of fresh air
So I am regretting writing this in a way, I almost wish no one would find this place and we could have it all to ourselves. We chose this spot for its capacity for guests but mostly because of its closeness to the ocean. That ability to sit out on the porch every morning and watch the ocean was amazing. You have two other houses between yours and the water but the neighbours were great and there is a clear view and path between the other houses to get to the beach. The beach is not sandy, if you want some time in the sand head down to Qualicum bay where you can park and hit the beach easy. The house was amazing. Clean and spacious with a nice master bedroom upstairs and a nice onsuite. There is a nice big living room off the kitchen with a fireplace and lots of windows. For those families that do like their electronics while on vacation, the Wi-Fi was good and there is a big screen tv that we hooked our devices up to for movies at night. I will mention two things in the ‘negative’ category. 1st, you don’t receive the check in/house info until you book so we didn’t know there would be no outside fires while we were here. Aug 15 to Mid Oct is the fire ban but fires inside the house anytime. 2nd, everyone is different but my wife and I did find the master bed quite hard. If you are use to a softer mattress bring a foam pad or something to help. All in all enjoy your stay and be prepared to want to to return, like us.

Loons, salmon, seals, and good snorkeling. Lots in the area to do. Caving, Goats on the Roof, a fishery except it was closed. Lots to do inside, too. Games, puzzles, kid's toys. We had a wonderful time.

Ticked all the boxes!
This house is in a beautiful,quiet location which our whole family of three generations enjoyed. The house is spacious with plenty of natural light and we particularly enjoyed sitting out on the veranda. The small balcony off the upstairs bedroom has been closed off. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels etc. Kitchen was well equipped (needs a new toaster) and because of the pandemic we prepared all our meals there. The house was very clean. The sandy beaches of Qualicum Beach and Parksville are within easy reach and there is an excellent supermarket and stores in the town of Qualicum Beach. The owner was excellent to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending the property. We would certainly consider staying again in the future.

A great Island getaway
We had a wonderful week at this property. The setting is beautiful, as is the house itself. The beach is rocky, but we did not mind that. Just put on some shoes and go for an evening stroll. Kristina was very responsive to any questions we had.

Great time. Lots of room in the house for 5 people to love around. Bring your own Saran Wrap or containers with lids as we didn’t have anything to wrap up our leftovers. We had great weather and good place for a troll down the. Each. Had a great time and would recommend to others

A Ladies Weekend away
Six ladies had a great weekend in this lovely home. The weather was wet and stormy but we were cosy inside playing ukulele's and sitting around the fire. Kitchen was great to work in, lots of space for more than one person. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you

Beautiful house but more cleaning
The house is beautiful and great location. We were disappointed with the detail on cleanliness. I got to grab a mug for coffee the first morning and realized it was dirty. I grab another and same thing. I decided to pull all of them out of the cupbord and they were all dirty. It seems to me that perhaps last visitors didn’t turn on the dishwasher and when cleaning person came just put them away without checking if they were clean. We were grossed out about the rest of the dishes. Found a pan not washed either, it still had eggs attached to it 😡🤢

2nd Stay
This is our second stay at this property in the past 2 months, and we will stay here again when on the island. Location is great, house is perfect, close to the beach, etc. The house is exactly as advertised, and would be perfect for a family, or two couples, or one couple who like all the amenities of home.
