“value for money hotel, nice rooms, staff ok ( Sophie helped me a lot ) , breakfast ok , clean and silent , a rental car is needed , not tried the pool ( but nice to have ) . they have 3 units / 3 type of rooms : sao sebastiao, boutique and guest house. ”

“The property is attractive and generally comfortable. Sadly I did see a cockroach in my bathroom, which scared me and stopped me sleeping for a night. I did message a maintenance man who was very friendly and laid some insect powder and emptied the bin the next morning. Also the shower flooded after 2 mins of use so I had to remove the plug whilst I used it and put it back afterwards as I think the cockroach may have come from the drain. “This is a bedroom in a unit w other bedrooms that other travelers can book. There is a small shared bathroom. This might be OK for young travelers, but I would not recommend it for a family. Upon arrival we found the front door unlocked and propped open with a rock, which made us feel unsafe as anyone could have entered the unit. We had to carry our luggage two flights of stairs and found an open foyer with the doors to the bedrooms and shared bathroom. Our bedroom was very hot inside probably...
