“I’d noticed this hotel before so I thought it would be great but I was so wrong. I walked in and the front desk person said she couldn’t find my reservation or the early check in paperwork I’d done online and charged me again for the room. Then I went up to the room and the tv was on (the tv wouldn’t change channels so I couldn’t want anything besides one news channel) and the room smelled smoky and disgusting (even after the front desk person said it was a smoke-free facility). “Obviously older and not super well kept. The lamp cord blew a spark and the other one just about fell apart randomly, mini fridge took a while to get cold, carpets need replaced, the bed was so uncomfortable. Woke up with a sore back/neck and a headache. The people were nice, but I’ve stayed in way better Best Westerns. We drove extra on the way home and ate the money instead of stopping here again. ”

“I think it may have recently changed ownership. This property needs a lot of work, they try but seem to be lacking customer service skills. Room was clean and basic, on the third floor, after getting our belongings to our room we went for dinner. Came back and the elevator is broken. Today had to use the stairs to get our belongings back to our vehicle. I know this is our of their control but an offer of assistance would have gone a long way. ”
