“Our party of 3 arrived the evening of Apr 3rd for a 3 night stay. The owner showed us to our cabin, and it was in terrible condition. The stairs were loose, the handrailing was rickety, the door didn't fit properly. Once inside, we could see it was poorly built, the bathroom was dirty, and it appeared not to have hot water, although we never had a chance to find out for sure. “An absolute gem of a spot! You will not be disappointed with this well managed and beautiful situated inn on Lake Arenal. Quaint yellow cottages with gorgeous views, an infinity pool and hot tub, ancient looking artifacts, fanciful paintings and a welcoming staff make this place unique and relaxing. We added an extra night just to take advantage of the views from our porch and our lovely room. Sunsets are the highlight of the day. Breakfast is included at the restaurant with bar on site....

“The view and the owner/hostess made our stay! The personal attention at breakfast was delightful. This feels more like renting a villa with a morning chef than like a hotel. There are a couple good restaurants at the bottom of the hill for dinner. The drive to La Fortuna is 30 minutes. Be aware there is no air conditioning. There are windows with screens on 3 sides of the villa so the breeze is nice. In the morning you’ll hear a beautiful symphony of birds. I would stay here again.”

“Everything was great! The view is awesome, the location is great, and the hot tub feels very nice. Just a warning—if you hit the “water” button on the tub when no one is in the seats and the tub isn’t full yet, the jets might hit the opposite wall above the door 😂.”

“We loved our stay at your spacious little apartment. The room was perfect and the plants and trees there were beautiful. Our host, Arelys, was very knowledgeable and helpful in planning our outings. Her experienced husband took us on a night walk in the cloud forest and taught us a lot about the local flora and fauna. It was very educational and a lot of fun. Pura Vida! ”
