“Lovely, quiet B&B on a farm. Location is remote, which made it a peaceful stay. There was plenty of parking available. The room was large and comfortable with a good bathroom and a strong wi-fi signal. The owner recommended a local pub, which was a 10-minute drive away. The food and beer were excellent! Breakfast the next morning was superb. The host was very helpful throughout.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Chestnut Tree. Lisa, the host was the main reason, she is a great communicator which is important when booking. She was so very helpful with local information and incredibly kind. Our room was beautiful and the amenities in the bathroom delightful. The area is beautiful but with only one night, we didn’t get the change to do much exploring. Next time. Thank you Lisa for a wonderful stay.”

“Fabulous stay at stay @FL, wish we’d had more time at the actual venue as the surroundings are fantastic!! Very peaceful and Paul was great! We had a lovely breakfast of poached egg (resident chickens) and salmon/ham! Would defo recommend, also take walking shoes (trainers) and go for a walk!! ”

“Convenient location for Gatwick and long-term parking options. 16th century building with bedrooms in character separate block. Upstairs bedrooms only accessible by steps but large size with King bed, chair and desk. Large bathroom and good shower. Very good breakfast with locally sourced ingredients and large portions. We were a late check in and manager brought us bottles from the bar to our room. Would stay again for sure.”

“Excellent spot for late departures and arrivals from Gatwick airport. The room was clean, fairly equipped and comfortable. Late check-in options available and easily accessed. Highly recommended!”

“Victoria was the perfect host made us feel so welcome, the property was absolutely stunning and breakfast was so lovely sitting out in the garden looking at the views will definitely be back again maybe for a bit longer next time ”

“We didnt get to use the facilities propeas we got there late evening and left before breakfast. However, checking in was a pleasure. The room amazing, downstairs king size bed with 2 singles upstairs. Bathroom was lovely, pristine clean. ”
