“Parking was right outside our room. We had a slight hiccup with our room. However the Manager Jackie was very quick to kindly move us to another room. Jackie went out of her way and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again ”

“ I liked the location of the property being close to places within walking distance like the Wilderness railway. The room was neat and tidy and was generally quiet during my four-night stay. My only frustration was with the tv in the room as many a time the 'no signal' message popped up. Other than that it is a nice place to stay, and I enjoyed a Sunday dinner in their restaurant. ”

“Ok this is an old building and we should appreciate that. The room facilities were basic (the shower head leaked reducing pressure, one electrical blanket did not work and the general cleaning could be better) we thought that the continental breakfast layout could be better to reduce congestion. The breakfast was toast, cereal and limited fruit. Tea and coffee was available. The location was excellent over the road from the railway. The staircase is magnificent . “Went in with low expectations, but it turned out to be a pleasant stay for the price. The amenities were good, especially the inclusion of a small kitchen which made things quite convenient. The room was reasonably comfortable and had everything needed for a short stay. The facilities are a bit dated and it does show in certain areas, but they are still functional and well-maintained.
