“This was perfect for a family holiday. The house is clean, spacious and very well equipped for those who want to cook and eat in-house. The garden is lovely, with lots of space and with different areas to sit out. The gite is about a 10 minute walk from Carentan, or a few minutes in the car. Carentan is about 60 minutes easy driving from Caen. Our host, Mme Haubois, was very welcoming and gave us some good ideas on where to eat and visit, and sorted out a minor issue with the washing machine...

“Lovely spacious house for a family stay. The covered pool was perfect given we had some cooler and wet days and the sauna was a bonus for the adults. Easy walking distance to the town for bakeries, bars, restaurants and shops, but the house itself is secluded enough to think you are in the country. Wardrobe space was limited in some of the bedrooms, but not a problem for us. ”

“I’m struggling to find the right words for a review. It’s a Fantastic place in such a beautiful location. Beautiful house and garden with everything you need (and lots more). Comfortable, stylish and beautiful. The hosts are such wonderful people, so helpful, kind and were so good with our children (and us!). It became so much more than a holiday, it was truly special and we are truly grateful to Claude & Michelle for that.”
