Made the reservation online expecting to be there in minutes. Driving truck and trailer, squeezed out of exit by semitruck. Dark, misting, tired and drove past exit. 10 minutes to next exit. Called and tried to cancell reservation within an hour and respondent was very rude and unwavering

Thank You for staying with us and taking time to post your positive feed back. Unfortunately please make right commet about the hotel where you stay. You are only making this comment because we have not cleaned your room on your second night. And please note that you have placed do not disturb tag on the door when you left in the morning which means our guest doesn't want us to enter the room to clean for your second night. This is the manager who noticed your do not disturb tag on the door and in this case our house keeping staff do not enter your room which is not our fault. Well we apologize for the inconvenience you had, but still we have offered you to change your towels in the evening when you came back to your room, but you didn't want because we place enough towels in the room for you. Have a wonderful second night stay at Travelodge Trenton. Thanks again.

The property looks old and tired. The bathroom sink was cracked and the bathb and the bed linens were not clean. The coffee machine did not work

Friendly, helpful reception. Breakfast adequate. Good coffee. Bathroom/sink set-up inconvenient. No bath mat or anti-slip in tub, Leaky shower faucets. Good location. Overall, ok stay.

A dog barked several times in the night which was too bad. Check in seemed a bit clunky; old computer? But clean and serviceable hotel, good value.

This Travelodge in Trenton did the trick. We stayed here while travelling for the Solar Eclipse of 2024, having to make a decision as to whether to head east towards Montreal and Sherbrooke, or stick to our original plan and head west towards the shores of Lake Erie. I woke up on the morning of the April 7th, the day before the eclipse, and wandered down to the shores of the Bay of Quinte... the property has a nice grassy area where you can walk, reflect, and appreciate the beautiful Ontario nature on the water. I watched the sunrise over the water, and pondered the uncertain adventure ahead of me. Thankfully, the correct decision came to me, and I shared a nice conversation with the concierge about the beautiful scenery and history of the area. Long and short, we saw the solar eclipse in totality on the shores of Lake Erie; but the careful reflection that came to me while staying in this Travelodge was a pivotal part of our journey! Breakfast was decent and simple for a Travelodge, and the night was actually very quiet, especially given the hotel was full of travelers for the eclipse, like myself.

I was impressed on the cleanliness of the hotel and its beautiful view over the lake. We came for the eclipse and it was so nice to be planted by the lake for that. Property has had some new carpets and overall very clean. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for it’s affordability. Breakfast was ok but good for your average continental. No elevator but I am used to Europe and you make do without one.

Old and outdated hotel. Hallway was very musty smelling. Exit door to back parking door had broken latch so unable to lock. Bed was quite firm but not uncomfortable. TV channel selection was terrible. Not suitable if you enjoy watching TV. Hot tub was clean but ran out of hot water while filling.

True, it wasn't perfect cleanliness - there were quite a few cosmetic issues. Nothing major though that would have cancelled a stay. But it was also the cheapest around. The staff was excellent, check in/out was quick and easy, and the continental breakfast was actually quite a bit better than expected - 3 hot-food options, assortment of breads/cereals/toppings, coffee/juice. Filled me up for the morning for sure!
