I did not like that they did not have a reservation for me on the 28th of June. I was confirmed by Expedia but when I arrived there was no reservation for me. I had to go to another hostile nearby and luckily they had a vacancy. Will never book with Expedia again.,

Hi Wanda, I would like to tell you that we recieved your reservation. We were expecting of you that day but you did a no show. Maybe you got confused with another place. Even, that day we just had 5 booked rooms and 10 available rooms. It was not our fault so, please could you help us changing the low rate that you gave us?.

Nice hotel near airport
Nice hotel near airport. Very friendly & helpfull staff. The hottub was not working and they provided access for us to use a nearby hottub in an club. Easy walk to small area of town with restaurants. Rooms were large with large bathroom.

El servicio en las habitaciones los baños no funcionan bien no hay teleonos para pedir algo hay que bajar a la oficina a pedir cualquier cosa

Very quiet! Less than 10 minutes from the airport. Regular taxi $5 one-way. If you request taxi inside of the airport it's $10...same guys waiting outside of the airport!

They gave my room away to a larger group.
When I arrived, the security guard left me in the street for about 15 minutes while he made phone calls. Then he told me a group had rented the whole hotel including my room. They eventually transferred me to a different hotel but it was not good service.

Charming Hostel in Mindo
What a wonderful surprise is Hosteria San Carlos Tababela, all carefully and cheerfully cultivated by consummate host Henry. The bungalows are charming, comfortable and tranquil. It was the perfect base camp for exploring. And the breakfast! And the Happy Hour cocktails! Great all around, and thank you Henry.

It was great. Cheap and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. We only stayed as an overnight from the airport but it was a great clean and relaxing stay. It was only about 5-7minutes from the airport.

Be careful with hotels close to Quito airport.
Well located close to airport...very sparce for the price...breakfast is nothing more then fruit..bread..and juice. Paid for extra eggs. Upon check out they wanted to charge me an extra 4.6% for using a debit card. That is not advertised anywhere. In the USA that is illegal to do. I live here in Ecuador and can tell you it has gotten worse over the years. Make sure to use a larger chain if you dont want surprises from the locals who think they can charge a lot mkre for simple convenience. Their ad stated free airport pickup but it costs $5. Just beware.

Cute, quaint and very convenient to the airport.
Needed a place to stay with my husband and teenage and preteen sons. We had a flight out to Cuenca but was not until the morning. We were promplly met at the airport by the driver and 10 minutes later we were at the hotel. The hotel staff were warm and welcoming. The place was quiet and as promised we were driven back to the airport early the next morning. We liked the place so much we will dtzy there when we return home in 2 weeks. It is not a fancy place so if you need that look someplace else. This is a good, clean, convenient place with a very nice and hardworking hotel staff. We were only sorry our travel did not allow for us to eat breakfast there and my sons did not get to use the pool as we arrived so late and had to leave so early.

Hidden Gem
This is a most beautiful place to stay near the airport. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The single room I was in was small, but adequate. Hot water. Very clean. The staff is very helpful and some speak English. I felt very safe in the neighborhood. The meal in their restaurant was excellent. This place is a hidden gem. I will stay here again.

Perfect hotel before flying home from Quito Airpor
I booked this hotel because of the amenities as Quito Airport is over an hour away from the actual city and a $25 cab ride one way to the airport. I had to be at the airport at 5am so the hotel gave me a ride which was only 10 min so it was the perfect location. They also did a massive load of laundry for me in a few hours and I got to enjoy the pool during the day while I waited. There's some nice sitting areas to enjoy inside and outside and a very small gym equipment area if you like to work out. Unfortunately the treadmill didn't work and I had planned to use it. So I went on a walk through the town instead. Very safe and there's some restaurants nearby if you need. The hotel serves breakfast and supper though too. The room at night was really really cold so bring long pajamas as they don't heat, just some will blankets which managed to keep me warm enough!

La locación es perfecta por su cercanía al aeropuerto y cuenta con un lindo jardín, pero las habitaciones son demasiado pequeñas y precarias para un viajero de negocios. La TV no es mas grande que un monitor de laptop, las camas son rusticas y rechinan bastante. No hay un menu para ordenar algo de cenar. Se escucha mucho el ruido de los otros cuartos.

Country side setting
We were greater at the airport as arranged and taken to the hotel. Speedy check in. Breakfast was modest but sufficent. Fun watching the two lamas walking about the grounds and interacting with the two peaceful dogs. Beautiful setting and the staff were friendly. Safe area to walk about with a few restaurants and shops. Enjoyed our two nights.

Convenient place, next to the airport
Convenient place, next to the airport (10 min in taxi). The owner prepared a good dinner, and organized our transfer at 4:30 am the next day.

Fine Transit Hotel
I stayed in 3 different hotels around the Quito airport between 3 different flights.... I can easily rank the 3 different hotels which all were almost the same price and all about the same distance from the airport... Best by far was Villa Da Fiore, next was Casa Puemba and last was Hostelleria San Carlos. You can check my reviews for the others under their hotel. We stayed at Hostelleria San Carlos Tababella for literally 8.5 hours... We arrived at something like 11pm and left the next morning at 7:30 for the airport. The lodging was perfectly fine... The room was dark. They did a very nice job coordinating timely pick up & drop off at the airport. But for the price of 3 of us (which was the same for all 3 of my "airport" hotel choices, I would definitely stay at Villa Da Fiore which was beautiful beyond a transit stay. There was nothing wrong with Hostelleria San Carlos but it was expensive for what it was. (But I found the hotels charge significantly more for 3 people than for 2... It might even have been cheaper to book two rooms than add the 3rd person to one room... But I didn't think of that at the time).

Great place to overnight in Quito
I recently stayed at Hosteria San Carlos when I had an overnight layover in Quito prior to returning to Cuenca. My flight was due in at 1050 pm, but was almost 2 hours late, yet a driver from the hosteria was waiting for me. Believe me, I was very glad to see him! The hosteria accommodations are simple but very clean and comfortable. The grounds are very pretty and well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly!!! Whether staying just overnight between flights, or as a base to explore Quito and surrounding area, I highly recommend Hosteria San Carlos!! I consider a great value.
