“We arrived at the hotel, had a problem with one of the keys to the property, rang a number , told the person on the end of the phone, we couldn't get back into the property with the main key, just wanted the code for the master key, so we could actually enter the property,from when we got back from our day/nite out in Nottingham, but the person on the end of the phone hung up on me.lucky for us we had a key which we could open the patio doors so we could get in that way, we've stayed at this...

“Stayed in ensuite quadruple room (2nd floor), surprised to find small kitchenette with sink fridge kettle and microwave - tea coffee sugar and milk provided - 4 mugs but no other crockery. Large room with table and 3 chairs, beds were fairly comfortable but duvets were very thin. Window a bit draughty as it didnt close properly, this also made it a bit noisy in the room in the morning. A good heater in the room and heated towel rail in the bathroom. Good town centre location, 5 minutes walk to...

“Unfortunately not my best visit here - visited several
Times - checked in quite late - went straight to my room for a bath - no hot water ! - then headed down stairs for a bit to eat - had the same as my previous visit ( chicken bourguignon which was great last time) - unfortunately this time it was reheated microwaved mush - so headed to bed , unfortunately for me I was woken up by rocking headboards at 1.30 ( my neighbour was obviously having a better night than me ) thin walls between rooms...

“Original old rooms but full of character. Comfortable bed, tea and coffee. Lovely river view with outside tables and chairs. Had dinner and breakfast which were very good. Ample parking”

“For the price we paid the hotel was absolutely fine. Lovely leisure facilities, nice biscuits with the tea and coffee tray. Lift’s available. Bar and restaurant and food were good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Sadly it’s all a bit tired. Cracks in plaster around the building, dark decor just in need of TLC but as I said before, this was reflected in a very good price. I would definitely book here again.”
