“Quinta Atlantis is a beautiful space that makes you feel right at home. The craftsmanship of the wood is amazing and the fireplace is awesome. A great place for solo or couple travelers in the hills of Povoacao. You’ll spend time with the dog Laika and the cat Pluto who are very friendly, but will give you space as well. Breakfast is the best you’ll get on the island. Fruit, eggs, fresh Jam, yogurt, vegetables and hummus. I will surely stay there next time I’m on Sao Miguel.”

“This is a very nice but basic hotel. Spotlessly clean. Cleaning and breakfast staff are excellent. The lady at the front desk(Maria?) seemed bothered when we asked for something. Everything seemed like an imposition on her. Otherwise, everyone else was fantastic. Good breakfast included and plenty of free parking. Easy 10 min walk to the centre of town and most sights. Rooms are a good size but the bathrooms were small and needed more hooks to hang towels. Overall, a great stay.”

“We were and my wife , my daughter with 2 your children . We got what they call a villa : 2 bed rooms with a living room in the middle . Perfect setting . Beautiful view . Very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and all staff very, very helpful.”
