  • Una recinzione a binario diviso ti dà il benvenuto in "Treetops", una casa per le vacanze su due livelli progettata dall'architetto sul lato della Black Rock Mountain nella contea di Rabun, in Georgia. Nelle vicinanze ci sono infinite opportunità per escursioni, gite di un giorno automobilistico in luoghi affascinanti, pesca, antiquing, rafting, shopping e semplicemente relax sull'ampio ponte incastonato tra le cime degli alberi.

    L'accogliente zona giorno al piano inferiore presenta una stufa a legna, una TV via cavo con lettore DVD e videoregistratore e un pavimento completamente piastrellato. Gli animali domestici sono ammessi. C'è un parcheggio coperto per un'auto e un parcheggio fuori strada per due. Una cucina completa consente la preparazione di tutto, da un pranzo veloce a una ricca colazione di campagna fino a una cena del Ringraziamento. Treetops è di proprietà familiare da oltre trent'anni ed è stato aperto agli affittuari che cercano il meglio che le tranquille montagne della Georgia del nord possano offrire. Da qualsiasi parte della zona giorno di questo luogo tranquillo, ci sono viste sulle cime degli alberi.

This dog friendly property is well stocked to keep you and your family busy when you're not out and about. The kitchen has everything you might need. Fishing poles and heavy jackets are available.The property is spacious with 2 private bedrooms and lots of sitting outside. Conveniently located next to Blackrock Mountain State Park for your outdoor activities. Great place to cool off in summer. Highly recommend this property.

Treetops was a perfect retreat to relax and reconnect with nature. The view and scenery from the porch were ideal. We felt secluded in the quiet area. Easy to get to town, state park and access stay. Beds were comfortable and cozy. The unique decor added to the charm of our stay. The amenities were as listed and made functioning within the property and cooking a breeze. We loved that you had a view from every room. We are looking forward to returning for a longer stay in the future. Thank you!!

Perfect Location

Enjoyed our stay. We had several local places we wanted to visit and this was a great spot. Also enjoyed Black Rock Lake and State Park. Perfect for my husband and I plus daughters family. Had everything we needed to cook from steaks to full breakfast.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

We absolutely loved this comfy, eclectic, little cabin! It is well stocked with everything you would need, very clean, comfy beds, great woodsy setting with a front porch swing, extremely close to Black Rock Mountain State Park, and Jon, the owner, is super responsive and helpful. We hope to go back again some day!

Kick back and relax!

We found this property to be very homey and comfortable. As if we were welcome family in it. It is a mountain house which is exactly our comfort zone! Quiet nights and a very pretty neighborhood. Nice walking trails near by.

Heaven in the Treetops

Very relaxing with beautiful woodland views and close proximity to numerous hiking trails in Black Rock Mountain State Park. We saw several deer and a bear too! We brought our Airedale, and he loved it(as well as us)! Thank you for a fabulous family vacation!

The location and the cabin itself were great, and the stay was overall very comfortable. However, the main issue was cleanliness. The house was not properly cleaned upon arrival, which was disappointing. With better attention to cleaning, this place would be excellent.

Mountain getaway

The property is right next to Black Rock Mountain Park, about 6 minutes up the mountain, not a bad drive. Lots of activities close by in the little towns around the area. Jon the owner was very nice. House is nice for a small family. Lots of windows look out on a gorgeous mountain view.

Nice Get Away

Everything is there that you should need! We cooked a turkey dinner after hiking the trails at Black Rock Mountain. Very relaxing. Nice that there are books to read and maps of the area. Will be back again!

Excellent out of the way retreat

Excellent experience! Owner was very quick with responding to questions. Cabin was very nice. Loved the location-out of the way, secluded. The guitar was an unexpected surprise! I was able to play in the evening. We will definitely be back!

We had a three person old Boy Scout friends get together at Jon's Cabin in Rabun's Gap, Georgia. The Mountain Air Was Fantastic, and the Cabin had all we needed and even a few surprises. There was a brand new top of the line washer and dryer, dishwasher, Coal Webber Grill, and beautiful outdoor shower. There were a few questions we had, and Jon answered them ASAP. We did some antiquing, fishing, sight seeing, cooking, and watched DVDs on the NEW Player that was in the cabin. Like the Bear themed cabin, and the rustic beauty of the area. It was quiet and peaceful. It was just a driveways from the Black Mountain State Park, and the Appalachian Life Museums of buildings. The slightly cooler weather was a nice break from the HOT Florida weather. Would recommend this property. Roger, Visitor From Florida.

Location! Location! Location!

Wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe 5-10 minutes from Black Rock Mountain State Park, which was one of our main attractions. Close to good restaurants and tourist shopping. One of our favorite North Georgia Mountain trips by far. I got to hike James Edmonds Trail and then come home and get snuggly and comfortable! Well stocked, Ingles close by. Would stay here again.

Cozy Cabins in the Mountains

We enjoyed our stay beyond words. The cabin is cozy and well stocked with almost anything you could need. The porch swing is an amazing place to take in the beauty of the property and the soft breezes that blow almost all day long. We used the fireplace each morning and enjoyed our first cup of coffee cuddled up next to it. Our fur babies loved the yard and dirt roads that provided a great area to take long walks and explore. Although the property has a remote feel, shopping is easily accessible within 10 minutes. Black Rock Mountain State park is within 2 minutes of the property. Peaceful place to kick back, relax, and enjoy nature. We will definitely be back again!

Great location, well equipped, could use some updating.

Nice little cabin in a location very conveniently located to Black Rock State Park. Nice layout and well equipped with everything you need. Could use some updating though as it was very musty smelling. The bunk beds were nice, but the two beds in the bedrooms were not queens and were very old and in need of updating. Every time you moved the bed creaked and sounded like it was going to break. Front porch was very dirty and not really useable unless a lot of cleaning was done first. With new beds and getting rid of the mustiness it would be a very nice place though.

Beautiful Wooded View, Happy Porch Swing, Awesome Host

My favorite spot - The Porch Swing! Great view and made it feel like home, I have two on my porch. Jon is one of the most generous, attentive and gracious host we have dealt with. His attention and quick responses to your questions goes above and beyond. His property is wooded and feels secluded even though there are houses around it. The trails and proximity to Black Rock Mountain State Park make this a great place for hiking. The house was VERY clean (smelled fresh and clean), well-furnished and stocked. My first impression on opening the door was "Oh wow". The split-level layout makes it even more roomy feeling. The beds were comfortable and the wood burning stove is awesome. There were no negatives to this property in our opinion. A most welcome stay and much needed break. As for the driveway, it is concrete and wide, and does have a sharp turn at the top to park under the house, but I (a woman) navigated it easily the first time in my husband's Chevy 2500 (large, tall, and not a great turning radius), so anybody should be able to negotiate it. Everything was as pictured with the exception of an updated flat-top stove and the chairs at the kitchen island (they are now stools). The picture on VRBO of the outside of the house does not capture the real essence/look of the house (the railing has been updated and the house is lovelier than the picture). Amazing cabin

We had a wonderful time in this old family cabin. Great facility and location in the woods. Very quiet and peaceful. Very well equipped just need to bring your food and clothes! Ingles in town not too far away. Owner was very responsive to communications. Loved the place thank you!

Winter Retreat

We had a 5 great days at this cabin in the woods. Jon was easy to reach with a few issues due to the weather but everything worked out well. If you are there in the winter a 4 wheel drive vehicle might be necessary. Supplies for fire building are helpful. Otherwise everything you need for a vacation in the mountains is there.
