Hotel vicino a Raccoon Creek State Park -

“Wouldn’t know specifically emailed the facility in advance to verify we could check in after midnight due to our flight times. Got there to check in at 3:45 am and was told after midnight we are late, no check in after midnight and no refunds. But if I wanted I could pay another $250 to sleep from 3:45 am to 10 am?!?!? WHAT?!? So essentially $500 for 6 hours. Unacceptable. Side note the guys who kept driving us back and forth from the airport to the hotel were fantastic.”

“The pictures of the property are very misleading. You would thing the 6 out of 10 rating they received was not correct. Then you arrive and begin questioning your choice of hotel. I arrived at night. I passed the road sign because the sign wasn’t working. Once I found the road to the hotel I was shocked how poorly maintained it was. There were huge potholes and I had to take it slow. Once arriving to the hotel I was surprised to find there was no continental breakfast or for that matter any food...

“The dressers were sticky with some sort of film. There was hair and dust as well. The drawers were disgusting.”

“The room was dirty. The bathtub was full of hair. The floors were dirty to the point that our socks were filthy that we were our shoes. The photos online showed a coffee bar and they said they haven’t had that in 5 years. Their breakfast was a few muffins and bars if someone was looking for food before work or travel that’s not the place. Could not connect to the internet on laptop or iPad. The carpets in the hallway were utterly disgusting. The sheets were clean thank god. The over night...

“They checked us into a room that was not cleaned/occupied. The second room was nice but the carpet was wet and the room smelled like wet dog. The staff at checkout were lovely and the breakfast was great. The pool looked nice. It was fine for a place to stay for one night but I probably wouldn’t stay there again. The renovations are an improvement.”

“I could not take breakfast, even if prepaid, because there was nothing to go. And the hotel was unable to offre me a solution nor to deduct the cost of beakfast (30$ paid for nothing….)”
