“We had booked an apartment (no. 4) in Montegufoni for 2 weeks from the end of July to the beginning of August 2024. The location of the castle is very beautiful and quiet. The charm of the old castle is really charming. The staff were all very friendly. Our apartment was located outside the castle. It was 50 to 100 meters to the castle on foot. Unfortunately, the pictures in the advertisement did not show the poor condition of the apartment. It had not been renovated over the years. The...

“It is a very beautiful castle with lovely scenic views. We were there in June. The rooms were very spacious and nice. It is very accessible to other towns in Tuscany. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. The only problem we had was the mosquitoes. We had our windows shut throughout the nights although a few managed to come through..otherwise everything else was great!”

“Cabbiavoli was the gathering place for our two week celebration with family and friends for my husband’s retirement. We were within an hour of every place we wanted to visit (Florence, Siena, Piza, Volterra) and even got to do the Cinque Terre hike, albeit a long day but so worth the two hour drive time! The train being so close made all excursions possible. Wineries are very close and within driving distance. Cabbiavoli itself is loaded with history and its grounds and views are breathtaking....

“Alles so wie angegeben. Restaurant war mega lecker wenn auch etwas teuer. Die Wohnung hätte sauberer sein können. Außerdem hatten wir ein relativ großes mückenproblem da die Fenster auch wenn sie zu sind nicht wirklich zu sind. Alles in allem aber trotzdem eine tolle Ferienwohnung neben dem wirklich schön gelegenen Schloss”
