“I have known about this property for years, but finally had the chance to stay here for an extended time. Uptown, aka The Heights, isn't the best neighborhood in general. But the immediate area has a lot to offer for food and drink. The hotel property is gated, creating an oasis of a compound. It's quiet, not terribly busy except on weekends, they often sell out. “Very nice hotel. convenient location to the Cal Expo. Pool was great. Hot tub not working when we were there. Pool water was chilly, but it was hot outside so not too bad. Our room looked like it had been recently updated and painted. The bathroom was very clean and nicely decorated. Decent size room with big comfy beds and comfy pillows. Had everything we needed. Fridge microwave big screen tv with lots of channels.”

“This was a great option for us due to its proximity to Golden 1. It was a short 7-10 minute walk and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The layout was a little strange, and it was a little small, but again, it was a great stay and the staff were lovely, professional and personable. ”

“Stayed here two nights, good level hotel, all services you would expect from a Hampton (parking, wifi, pool, complimentary breakfast). Conveniently located close to some major roads. Not many good restaurants nearby, it would be better to have dinner in some other area (downtown or so) before going back to the hotel.”
