“This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in hands down. The beds were so bad, I had to sleep in a chair. I called the front desk and asked if I could try another room and he said he would bring me a key. I waited 45 minutes for him. This was at 1:00 A.M. mind you. He never came. “This is not a typical hotel, as it has a very hipster feel to it - even a billiards table in the lobby that you can play for free. Breakfast was pretty standard, but I appreciated that there were a lot of condiments to add to both yogurt and oatmeal. I’m not a pancake person, but the pancakes looked good and they were fruit toppings for them. Fitness Center had a good variety of weights and balls, even a Peleton. Provided water bottles on arrival.”

“I travel in and out of PDX about 10 times a year. Red Lion PDX is the best hotel for price, for EZ 24hr shuttle service, for great staff, and a nice collection of convenient microwave frozen breakfast and dinner options, and, the coffee in the lobby is ready at 4 AM every morning. Perfect for early shuttle/flights.”

“The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast is waffles, English muffins, tiny muffins, yogurt, oatmeal, apples, cereal, and juice. I wish the pool were open later in the evening, it closes at 10. It's overall a good hotel for the budget guest, comfortable and clean. And not run down. I felt like parking was reasonably safe as well. ”
