Explore the vibrant city of Raleigh from this historic rental in the heart of it all! With a prime location near the area’s top attractions, this 1-bed, 1-bath apartment is the perfect base for exploring sites like the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, Pullen Park, NC State and more. When your adventurous days come to a close, unwind in the comfort of the modern living room — featuring a Smart TV and a laptop-friendly workspace and prepare your favorite meals in the eat-in kitchen. This is unit 2A.

Acorn Manor was built in 1925 and was split into 4 private apartments over 70 years ago. It was recently renovated with new kitchens and bathrooms and has modern furniture. Each place has it`s own private entrance from the back of the property with 1 dedicated parking space. This is unit 2A.

There is a shared washer and dryer in the basement that can be accessed from the stairwell that goes up to 2B.

If there`s anything you need during your stay, please don`t hesitate to reach out to us via AirBnb app. We will check it often during your stay.

Acorn Manor is located in the Glenwood-Brooklyn Historic District. We are .5 miles from Glenwood South and .5 miles away from Five Points.

You get to this unit (2A) from the back of the house where the parking lot is. Please note that the windows and flooring are original, please use extreme care.
Absolutely no smoking or parties on the premises. Violations will result in a $300 fine.

I loved staying in this historic property in a nice neighborhood near downtown. An old home has been turned into four apartments. I’m guessing this is the nicest one because it is the front of the house on the upstairs, with lots of windows. I was very comfortable and enjoyed walking in the neighborhood.

Visited Raleigh for a 2 day continuing education class, and this property was the perfect stay. Quaint and perfectly furnished apartment located desirably close to restaurants and entertainment. This was the first time using VRBO for traveling. We were visiting family and the location was fantastic. The property was great. The unit itself, just beautiful!! Pictures don't do it justice. The hostwas super nice and helpful. We had a family emergency and he was great and understanding. We will definitely stay here again next time we come back....until we make Raleigh our home city!!!!

Very Charming Place

I would have giving this a 5 star rating, but just one thing that I know could be improved for women...more counter space/shelves in the bathroom. We have a lot of stuff. Justin was great at communicating and everything was just as pictured on line. I would stay here again.

Great location, easy check-in

This property is very cute, and well-maintained. Close to everything, easy check-in and check-out process. Fast communication from property owners. The only drawbacks for us were that the kitchen wasn't as well-stocked with pots/pans and cooking utensils as we'd hoped, and the noise coming from the other renters in the building was loud, especially when in the bedroom area.

Great location and overall great stay!

Super easy check in, great location! My only complaint was the bathroom needs some work. It wasn’t super clean and the fan is unusable. It’s super loud and squeaky. It also wasn’t super clean. The walls need wiping off and some dust/dirt. Also, if you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Lots of noise in the Main Street. Otherwise, comfortable bed (could use better pillows), nice kitchen with everything we needed, easy parking, check in and check out.
