“Lovely surroundings and location ”

“A good alternative to staying in Halifax for us while visiting family. Clean and comfy room with a modern feel and easy contact-free checkin/out. Has parking, but we were car free so used local taxis for the most part to/from Sowerby Bridge centre (£10 each way) and also walked a few times (be aware, quite a steep but enjoyable climb, takes around 25 mins). Nice quiet surroundings and good views over the Calderdale valley. Although no on-site amenities now (shop/cafe/restaurant/bar) we...

“Very comfortable , very dog friendly , good food . Would return if this way again . Ease of parking , bus stop outside giving low cost travel in all directions . Character building and of interest . ”

“Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We had a disabled access which was great. Only negative. No air conditioning, but we asked for a fan and we were given a large fan on a stand, which was sufficient. Breakfast was fantastic good quality and freshly made.”

“From the moment I walked in, to that when I left, the staff were superb. Available to help when required, helped to create a great environment. Pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub were used in the evening and morning, clean towels available at reception each time. Breakfast, again helpful and food was good too. Would stay again and will be. ”
