“Everything was excellent, only issue was there was a private function on and we were informed the bar would be closed to us after 9pm on the second night! First time ever this has happened and we have stayed in multiple hotels! Guests in the hotel shouldn’t be refused access to the bar at all. ”

Comunque la posizione e l'ambiente e' tranquillo ed in mezzo al verde. Pulizia buona. Per i servizi, la cucina ha molti limiti. Il servizio e' stato ottimo. Pernottamento settembre 2009.”

“The location of the hotel in the village of Crudwell is very beautiful and charming, and overall our stay went well. The room was fairly spacious, although there are several aspects that could be improved. The hotel in general feels a bit dated and not particularly clean. Breakfast was not very satisfying and lacked attention to detail. The owners, however, are kind and welcoming.”

“Great place to stay extremely polite and helpful staff. Breakfast was a lovely experience too. If i had to find a minus point it would be no black out blinds or curtauns in the rooms so as soon as the sun came up the venetian blinds hid nothing, but im just clutching at straws here. “We booked a room as part of a wedding party .wedding was at 2pm. Check in is 4pm which is quite late ,we had to be in the orangery for 4pm so staff managed to check us in 3.40pm .Room was perfect, slept well,breakfast amazing. Food at the wedding of Becky and Mark was incredible. Our first visit here and we will definitely return and use the pool/spa as we didn't get chance to on this occasion. Check out at 11am is good, no rushing around. Thankyou for a lovely stay ”

The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful. We enjoyed some nice food in the atrium bar, a lovely afternoon tea in the 1853 restaurant. And some nice 6 oclock gin on the terrace - all with fantastic service. The only negative was the room was so hot it was uncomfortable, a fan was provided and was really needed. There...
