“The room was wonderful - comfortable bed, nice bathroom and shower, a nice view and a basket of fruit. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of things to choose from, and got a great latte from the litttle coffee shop/bar.”

A special mention to the gentleman with the hat and the housekeeping team, who were all incredibly kind and attentive. Their warm hospitality really made a difference. “Good value hotel. Great location. Bicky was a big help with arranging anything we required. Only complaint: when we returned from a tour we were moved to a nearby sister hotel (Hotel Elegant) without consulting us. The Elegant is much lower quality, very loud and without a view. ”

“The hotel had a charming boutique style feel. Cleanliness was absolutely top-notch, which stood out the most to me. The views were refreshing and beautiful, especially the lake view and the view of the stupa, both of which made the stay even more enjoyable. Staff were polite, respectful and knowledgeable. ”

“Rooms are extremely basic and look dated. Common areas are better but overall you pay the price of a four star hotel for what looks like a 2 star hotel. Breakfast is generous but the overall quality disappointing.”
