“Our experience at Eastwind Lake Placid was amazing. I stayed there with a large group, occupying 10 rooms, and from the very beginning we felt truly welcomed. Carolina, who assisted us during check-in, was exceptional—very kind, attentive, and thorough in explaining everything about the hotel and its amenities. “It has some sort of hostel feeling (common kitchen, pit fire area, barbecues, board games) with lovely private rooms. Bedding could be improved but we still would highly recommend it.”

“The front desk was very welcoming and accommodating. We appreciate the welcome champagne, cookies and hot chocolate. We had to check in and out at the High Peaks Resort which is infront of Lake House. It was snowy in January so it was as expected. It was mushy and all but we love the whole set up.
