“The room was clean and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was good, not a huge selection but enough choice to accommodate most people. The Oakland is in a very convenient location. Saturday night they have a live band which can be noisy if you want the windows open. The bar was busy and the atmosphere friendly the band when we stayed was very good. The joining walls in room are thin, we could here the tv and hairdryer from next door. ”

Peccato che nella prenotazione di HOTELS non è stato assolutamente specificato che la camera nostra era una specie di capsule room (penso sui 12 mt), inadatta per due persone e per muoversi con le valigie. Men che meno si poteva capire che questa tipologia fosse diversa da altre presenti in hotel, visto che era una doppia con letto doppio senza altra specifica. “The room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable, although the room was small, and if you ended up stuck inside, you’d quickly become claustrophobic. Likewise, the picture used to advertise the hotel is not a picture of any public or restaurant space in the hotel building, but a picture of the pub/restaurant 150 feet away.
