- Ferry Tale is where magic begins on Frye Island. Tucked in the middle of Sebago Lake, Maine this beautiful waterfront property provides magical memories that can't be beat. Only footsetepts to the Island Cafe, store, & a Fairy Garden. Our beutiful sandy beach awaits your toes! Our floating raft is a great hot spot to relax and we have a home for your boat! Enjoy quintisetial summer! Cruise the dirt roads under the canopy of the trees. Venture to the pickle ball, tennis, or basketball corts, play the 9 hole golf course. Check out the playground, horse shoe pits, volleyball nets or the 13 Island only acessable public beaches. Enjoy 100's of miles of hiking trails throught out the preserved land on the island. Venture to Fryes Leap across the channel or go further to the Songo Locks up to Brandy Pond and Long Lake. Your boat has a home on our mooring! And enjoy great food and entertainment all day at the Island Cafe' w/ cocktails! Relax on the screen porch &watch the boats go by.
