Mill Stone - Mt Penn

Un ottimo soggiorno breve o residenza temporanea facile da individuare, comodo e conveniente. Costruito negli anni '30, da allora ha continuato a servire da appartamento per famiglie.

Situato in un tranquillo quartiere residenziale, il residence Mill Stone - Mt Penn si trova vicino alla Oley Valley, alla Exeter Township, al fiume Schuylkill e alla Pennsylvania Dutch Country. L'attuale proprietà è situata a Cumberland Ave e Hollywood Court, a pochi minuti dai Centri Santander nella vicina Reading, Pennsylvania. Il fascino architettonico vintage accoglierà gli ospiti con alloggi confortevoli ma aggiornati, oltre a una splendida vista sul Monte Penn. Siamo a pochi minuti da Reading e Allentown e vicino a ponti coperti, insegne esagonali e Pennsylvania Paesi Bassi. Le comunità amish nella vicina contea di Lancaster, insieme a vari negozi di antiquariato e boutique, attrazioni ed eventi culturali si trovano nelle vicinanze.

La nostra ambientazione è ideale anche per un breve weekend lontano da altre aree urbane come Baltimora, Filadelfia e New York. Questo spazioso appartamento in stile Art Déco si trova al secondo piano di un classico edificio in stile Tudor, quasi centenario. Può ospitare comodamente fino a quattro persone con una camera da letto separata, un bagno e mangiare nella zona cucina. Con la visione WiFi e TV ad alta definizione puoi goderti gli spettacoli e i film di oggi con Cable, Roku, Netflix e Amazon Prime Video.

The owners obviously tried! Decor was suited someone's who loves the Victorian style. As hard as they tried, though, the factors that put me off were the very hard bed, the extension cords everywhere (numerous warnings that using multiple things would trip breakers) the carpeted bathroom (ew!) and threadbare, uneven floors. Some might find it charming; to me the place just seemed tired and out of date. Finally, as a disabled person with a cane, the outside uneven stairs and 2 inside flights up to rental were a challenge.

Love the well stocked kitchen and bathroom!

Thanks for making the stay so convenient. It was great to be able to make some coffee in the morning, and the bathroom had plenty of towels, shampoo and body wash. Cozy place.

very well kept time machine!

From the solid wood front door (complete with blacksmith hinges), to the turn of the century milk box, it was an unexpectedly nostalgic trip back to my earliest memories, of a time when life was simpler and so much safer! The pictures don't really capture the feel of the place. I loved the balcony, and the well maintained decor and fixtures. Marc is a very gracious and friendly host, thank you so much for helping make my daughters wedding a relaxed and memorable event!

Wonderful homecoming

I grew up ~7 blocks away from this wonderful 2nd-floor flat, in town for a high-school reunion. I loved the facilities, location, “walkability” of the neighborhood, and especially the kindness and flexibility of host Marc. Very roomy apartment with all the promised appliances, etc. My favorite “room” was the front deck, with a beautiful view of Antietam Valley - ideal spot for morning coffee or evening nightcap. I look forward to returning.

Charming condo

Clean and cozy

My friend and I were in Reading to attend the Night Lights lantern festival. We found this little gem and it was perfect for our overnight stay. The apartment was clean, cozy and well stocked. The beds and couches were comfy and the outside patio was fantastic to have morning coffee overlooking the quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The decor was tasteful and charming making us feel right at home. Overall a very nice VRBO - thank you!

Quaint little getaway

My wife and I stayed here for a little getaway. The apartment is quaint and has old world charm (even down to the squeaky floors.) it’s located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Overall, we had a nice time there.

Gorgeous home

My mom, sister, niece and myself spent the weekend antiquing in Adamstown and needed a great place to rest. This apartment was perfection. Cutest neighborhood ever. The apartment was bigger and more spacious than the pics showed. The balcony was everything, we sat and watched the sun set and the neighborhood go by. The place was very clean and fully equipped. We are already planning next trip just to stay yhete longer

Beautiful, charming Craftsman era details

If you like this era, you will love this property. Older neighborhood, beautiful Craftsman details like stained glass windows by the fireplace; a charming balcony and period details like the milk-box. The owner communicated with me immediately whenever I had a question. I loved it; my husband who doesn't love "old" houses and neighborhoods wasn't as charmed though he conceded the beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood very close by is charming, but a few streets away is less appealing. I really enjoyed staying here

Our short stay in Reading was great. Unfortunately, we didn't have a lot of time to explore the area but the apartment was cute and quaint and served its purpose! If I could ask the owner to splurge on one small thing it would be better quality toilet paper.
