“Only having street parking is an issue as neighbours also rely on street. Building is well kept, really like the location and neighbourhood as well. Our charming room was the smallest and we saw larger would have been available at same price. Lots of stairs, not a problem if your knees are good!”

“Property was okay cupboards in the kitchen were old. Sofa bed had a crappy mattress. It would have been nice to have grab bars in the shower and a full Length mirror!!!!!! Should go without saying. It was okay but I would not stay again.”

“The windows in our room were so dirty that it was hard to see the view. The rug was thread bear and had a hole that had been poorly repaired with the rug pad showing through . The gardens may have been lovely in years gone by but clearly aren’t getting any attention now. For almost $400 Canadian/ night I would expect more attention to detail and care for this beautiful old home. I won’t return”

“Ho apprezzato soprattutto la cortesia e la disponibilità della reception e la posizione dell'albergo, da cui si può raggiungere tranquillamente a piedi sia la zona del Fisherman che il Parlamento. Vicinissima la fermata del bus per andare ai Butchart Gardens. Nella hall è sempre disponibile gratuitamente per gli ospiti caffè americano e tè caldo.”

“We had a very nice 3-night stay at the Rialto. The staff were very helpful and any recommendations from them turned out to be great. We appreciated the higher floor room we received and closing the bathroom door kept it quiet at night (window insulation was not as good in the bathroom and outside noises drifted in). All in all we enjoyed our stay here and appreciated the restoration work involved in maintaining this hotel’s historic status.”

“Absolutely amazing experience at Rosemead House. It is like stepping into a magical wonderland. Beautiful property, building, rooms, restaurant. Delicious breakfast in an adorable setting. We weren't able to have dinner at the renowned restaurant, but will definitely go back again to enjoy that experience which is supposed to be sensational. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. HIGHLY recommend Rosemead and can't wait to visit again!!”

“I stayed at Hotel Zed with a friend for a girls trip and it was awesome. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. They let us check in early, which was so helpful since we were on an early flight. The ability to text message the lobby was so convenient and they were always super responsive. We were reluctant to stay at a hotel outside of downtown but the location was super easy to navigate to a cool restaurant or the wharf with a quick Uber ride. Thank you Hotel Zed!!!”

“Generally, the hotel staff was very good. However, I found the reception desk staff unhelpful and rigid when I called on our arrival date to find out the likelihood of being able to check-in early (ie before 4pm). They refused to give me any idea as to when I might be able to check in later that afternoon and insisted that all I could do is show up at the hotel and find out once I got there.
