Questa grande capanna aperta di 2500 piedi quadri è una "cabina lontana da casa". Si trova a quattro miglia dalla città di Red River ed è vicino a escursioni spettacolari, sci, snowboard!

La nostra cabina ha molto spazio per distendersi e rilassarsi mentre ci si allontana da tutto. La grande e moderna cucina ha un ripiano in piastrelle di vetro ed è ben fornita di piatti, utensili, elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile, pentola di coccio, pentola, pentole e padelle, frullatore, tostapane grande, caffettiera e molto altro.

Gustate i vostri pasti dal tavolo da pranzo al coperto mentre ammirate le vedute di Wheeler Peak di fronte a voi. Quindi dirigiti fuori verso l'enorme avvolgimento intorno al portico anteriore! Goditi il ​​tuo caffè mattutino o cocktail serale mentre ti siedi e goditi il ​​panorama e l'aria fresca di montagna. Approfittate del grande tavolo in legno e delle panchine sotto il portico e consumate i pasti anche all'aperto!

Abbiamo una TV satellitare al piano di sotto. Puoi fare un sonnellino, camminare, guardare i colibrì e rilassarti. Il centro della comunità in città offre attività giornaliere gratuite in estate, tanto divertimento per tutta la famiglia. Le città di Angel Fire, Taos e Eagle Nest non distano più di 20-40 minuti.

Quando ti avvicini alla cabina, vedrai il maestoso Wheeler Peak, che si erge a 13.000 piedi di fronte a te. La cabina si trova a livello stradale, perfetta per parcheggiare il tuo rimorchio ATV e NO 4WD o AWD è necessario nei mesi invernali!

Snow top mountain views

The home is beautiful, Took my Grand Children ages 20 - 26, 7 of Us. Plenty of room. Our days were spent in Red river ski area and town. We cooked our meals at the cabin and had breakfast and dinner. fully stocked kitchen with lots of counter space. Views were wonderful, no snow, except on the top of mountains. temps got up to 60*f during the day and cooler at night. Host was available at all times. We look forward to returning with a group large enough to fill the place.

This place was Amazing!

This property far and away exceeded our expectations.. It was large and spacious, and the rooms were well equipped for a mountain cabin. The kitchen was well equipped.. the bathrooms were clean and well kept.. And modern. We will definitely stay here again with our family.

Christmas in the Mountains 2024

Birch Valley did not disappoint. Plenty of space for our family and beautiful mountain views. Loved how close it was to town, yet allowed you to escape to the mountains at night. Love, love Red River and this property. Thank you!

Great place

Cabin was perfect! Plenty of room and a short drive to Red River. There was also a hike that ended up by a lake towards the top of the mountain that was close by. Property manager was also great to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

Two Extremes

Upon arrival it was obvious the house had not been cleaned since the kitchen was dirty, bedsheets were scattered on the floor, etc. Our three families spent the first day of our stay moving our stuff back and forth between two houses, so there is no 5-star review here. However, once we were settled, the property was, as promised, located in a quiet, beautiful valley with excellent views. If you can be sure the house would be cleaned upon arrival, I would definitely recommend it.

The perfect place even in the snow

This was a beautiful house easily accessible even in the snow. The driveway was plowed each time it snowed. There was plenty of room for our group of 9 to spread out. The short drive back to Red River was easy as the roads remained plowed as well. Communication with Mrs. Lisa was great, she even checked in to ask how our week was going. This was the perfect place for our stay for our skiing trip and we intend to return.

Beautiful Cabin!

We enjoyed our stay so much. Tons of hanging space for coats, coveralls, etc. washer and dryer to get that snow gear clean too! Our favorite part was cooking in the kitchen then relaxing on the back deck next to the fire pit each evening listening to all the animal sounds. Lisa checked in on us and has been nothing but great! Would highly recommend this cabin for family get togethers.

You Have to Stay Here!

Each year this property provides us the space for a growing group of old college friends to get together, relax and enjoy the mountains. We had plenty of room to park 4 trucks with side x side trailers and there was 7 of us and all had their own bed. We had a couple of others that brought their wives and other family members that stay elsewhere, but we entertained 13 for dinner one night without feeling cramped. Thank you Lisa for great communication and checking on us during the trip.

Peak Aspen color!

We stayed for our 20th anniversary. It was exactly as described. Easy to find, a few minutes from town, quiet, cozy, and spacious. The check in process was a breeze. The property owner/manager was quick to reply when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house. We were short on toilet paper, no kleenex or laundry soap. No biggie, we bought and left in the house for the next people. Pay in forward VRBO style.

Fall break in the mts

Had a great time at Birch Valley. Plenty of room for all. Even though it’s right on the highway you don’t hear traffic. Great views and love the wrap around porch. The dining room bench was quite alarming but then became a game with the kids. Great place!

Grandma's going away party

We loved staying here. 10 adults and 3 kids had a wonderful time. The house is perfect for families. Plenty of sleeping room, cooking room, convenience of everything. My kids say that they will come every year. The weather and mountain feel was so soothing. The owner, Lisa, was steller in communication and graciousness to us. Thank You!!!

Our family of 12 spent 2 nights here relaxing before heading home from our vacation in Lake City, CO. The house was great because it is just a short drive to Red River, has a large deck around the house for our kids to play and hang out, has plenty of room and inside the house has everything you need to cook. I definitely recommend this as a great stay for your family.

Amazing Family Space

We rented this property along with the Texas Tipi near by (same lovely owner) for a very small wedding with a very reasonable event fee. This property has amazing value and there are so many sleeping spaces. We also loved the deck (lots of room for dancing and enjoying the weather) and the roomy kitchen. Check in was smooth too!

Great place

This home was set in a gorgeous location, the perfect distance from town. Though there are other houses, the setting makes you feel secluded. The view of the mountains was amazing! The large windows and decks provided the opportunity to enjoy the view and watch the quaking aspens and tall pines. The house worked well for our family of twelve. Will definitely try to stay again if in the area.
