Hotel vicino a Red Shores Racetrack and Casino - Charlottetown

“Good for the price”

“This is a very unique hotel which makes for both positives and negatives. The hotel consists of some 20 buildings around the main hotel building. The other buildings are reconverted houses or businesses done into hotel rooms. Our building was a short walk away to where the breakfast was served each morning. The whole area was remarkably quiet. On the positive it’s located in a great location. We could walk literally everywhere. And there are no shortage of restaurants and coffee shops nearby....

“A beautiful historic hotel, we found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, comfortable suite (ours had a kitchen) and loved that we could do laundry at the onsite laundry machines. We could walk everywhere in old Charlottetown, and parking was free at the hotel. I would stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone I know travelling to PEI.”

“I would recommend the Rodd to anyone traveling to Charlottetown. I stayed there for three nights and found the staff were amazing and super helpful. Very solution oriented and kind the few times we needed something from them. The rooms were spotless and have been newly renovated and the rest of the hotel is maintained. If you use hotel gyms, it is missing a few machines but still does the job quite well.”

“No pool . Renovation going on , says pet friendly but only one building and it’s the old one and it costs 25$ a day too”

“Property is mediocre for resort standards. Breakfast is basic and similar to best western or other 3 star hotels. It is expensive for how the property is maintained, looks beaten up.”

“The place was great, very nice little cottage and nice staff. The only big issue was that the temperature settings in the rooms were locked to cooler temperature in the living space (requiring the use of blankets for eating and watching TV) and warm in the bedroom making it an uncomfortably warm temperature to sleep in. My partner tends to produce a lot of heat and even he found it too cold in the living space.”
