- A perfect Cornish hideaway for two, this spacious cottage offers an abundance of home comforts. Sleeping just two guests, the one-bedroom, single-storey getaway is on a working farm on the edge of Redruth, overlooking picturesque countryside. Venture just 2.5 miles to Portreath Beach, where you can picnic on the sand, dip in the sea and take to the waves with your surfboard. Walkers can also follow a section of the South West Coast Path from here. or head less than 1 mile along the long-distance footpath to the scenic Carvannel Downs, or 3.5 miles to Porthtowan Beach. Godrevy (8 miles), and Perranporth (10.5 miles) are also popular for swimming and surfing. Art lovers should head to vibrant St Ives (17.5 miles), to visit the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, while Pendennis Castle (12.5 miles) will please history enthusiasts.
After a day out exploring, return to the cottage and step into an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This airy space has been designed to ensure comfort and convenience throughout your stay. Recline on the sofas as you chat about the day’s adventures, watch your favourite show on the Smart TV, read your books or gaze out of the windows at the surrounding countryside.
