"Our holiday at Ailafushi was truly fantastic. The resort is stunning, with crystal-clear waters and an abundance of fish to admire while snorkeling. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by an incredibly kind staff, always ready to accommodate our every request. We travelled with our one-year-old, and the Kids Camp was simply phenomenal — spacious, beautifully equipped, and offering a wide range of activities designed even for the littlest guests. A heartfelt thank-you to the wonderful teachers - Ruwani, Nahu, Sam, Anna and Hanu - whose kindness, dedication, and genuine affection made our holiday truly unforgettable. The restaurant also played a big part in our wonderful experience, preparing a personalized kids’ menu every day, carefully tailored to our child’s needs and our specific requests. The combination of such a beautiful resort and the warmth, kindness, and helpfulness of the staff is what made this trip truly memorable. We will definitely be back."

"Viaggiato in coppia Beach villa numero 106 Camera spaziosa , pulita e funzionale e direttamente sulla bellissima spiaggia bianca vicino al beach bar… Tutto il personale della struttura è di una gentilezza incredibile!!🔝 Cucina buona con proposte per tutti i gusti sia a colazione che a cena. Mare fantastico ..unica pecca un po’ lontano il reef e quindi sarebbe ottimo se il resort riuscisse ad organizzare uscite non a pagamento per lo snorkeling! Abbiamo fatto escursione di pesca notturna molto divertente ed a un buon prezzo come tutte le escursioni a mio avviso. Concludo col dire che questa era la nostra settima volta alle Maldive e il Thualghiri resterà come uno dei migliori ❤️ Grazie Andrea&Anna "

"Overall, we had a great time and all staff members (with the exception of those at Front Desk) were exceptionally kind & professional. Front Desk was once again a complete disaster. This was my third visit to Summer Island, yet the first thing they asked me was to settle my bill for the Christmas Gala Dinner (150 USD/person). At the same time, they failed to inform us about the food & drink credit included in our stay. Only when I specifically asked about it was when they said something about it. Front Desk staff is overly focused on payment collection, which creates an unpleasant atmosphere and undermines the sense of Trust(!) they claim to have toward their “Valued Guests”. They also neglected to inform us about the wine & cheese tasting organised for returning guests. Obviously, they do not even know who their returning guests are. We only discovered the tasting event by chance since Avi Bar staff remembered us from last year. There seem to be too many staff members at Front Desk without clear roles and responsibilities. Their English language skills is limited, and interaction often feels scripted and repetitive, hardly what one expects from a fine island resort. Just like last year, the mandatory Christmas Gala Dinner was a rip-off. To make matters worse, some guest (e.g. in room 273), became seriously ill for several days after the Gala Dinner. This is completely unacceptable! My final remark is that compared to last year prices have increased, yet quality has declined!"
