“Our experience was amazing! This was an experience that I have always dreamed about. The guides for the excursions were the best. They were so knowledgeable and friendly. I will never forget all the beautiful sounds that you wake up to in the rainforest. The lodge was very eco friendly and the rooms were very clean. The rooms only have three walls so it is normal to find an insect here and there. I will definitely be returning. ”

“The property itself is very well built we were surprised we had no issues with bugs inside the room! The view from our room was great also.
This was our first time in PM so we didn’t know what to expect, but thought there would be more things to do there for what we paid. We also thought there would be some wild life around! We didn’t see much of anything besides some birds!
Luckily there is a wild life sanctuary 5 minute walk from the lodge that allows visual tours of their monkeys for $80...

“The immersion experience was great. Be prepared though to feel hot and full of bug spray much of the time. Wear hiking pants. Not Lulu leggings (too hot). The guides are great and you can do as much or as little as you want. We saw a lot of animals. ”

“Awesome experience. Excellent staff that goes beyond the call of duty to make your stay as comfortable as possible. But realize, this is the jungle, away from civilization which is the reason why one would visit. The hiking was great, even at night, in the rain, through large areas of free standing water, etc. This was an adventure. But also the staff made sure everyone was safe and accounted for. Ceciia, the lodge hostess was outstanding providing excellent food and very attentive to guest...

“We weren’t exactly sure what to expect, but our stay was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. All of the staff was amazing; restaurant staff, particularly Leslie and Renzo, were very friendly and attentive, our guide Yuri was very knowledgeable, fun and accommodating. The excursions included with your stay are well organized and very worthwhile. We would definitely recommend IKAM and hope to return. ”
