“Nice location and spacious room. The first night there was a great turndown with fire lit and curtains closed. The second night we were forgotten. Nice dinner, but there could be a wider range of wine selection. It’s a great location for suricate watching”

“Very nice B&B. Room was spacious and very nicely decorated. Properly was lovely. Gardens, pool, spa. There was a resident Zebra and a small herd of Springboks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast delicious, many choices, both buffet and hot, fresh made. Would highly recommend!”

Bokmakierie Luxury Loft Room - Stairs | Vista del balcone

“Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di avere la camera familiare, una camera bellissima suddivisa su 2 piani, il piano giorno, con soggiorno e cucina, e il piano notte con 2 camere da letto. La camera è molto curata, e i letti comodissimi. Da notare la gentilezza con cui siamo stati accolti, e assistiti durante tutto il soggiorno. Alla fine del pernottamento, ci avevano anche preparato un piccolo spuntino da portarci durante il viaggio. Se siete in questa zona, questo è il posto giusto dove pernottare.”

“La struttura è realizzata in maniera molto carina e si inserisce bene sia nel contesto africano che in quello quasi montano. Confortevole, accessoriata di tutto con un buon angolo cottura, bagno molto spazioso e letto comodo. Ben riscaldata visto il periodo invernale. Insomma nulla da dire”

“This is a very special place. The hosts are a lovely warm hospitable couple who have planned everything with great thought and and fine eye for quality and detail. “Bitte auf dem Weg Richtung Weimland nicht dran vorbeifahren. Ein Juwel. Unglaublich hilfsbereites, freundliches und immer gut gelauntes Personal. Die Zimmer sehr sauber, freundlich und hell gestaltet. Das Frühstücksbuffet sehr vielfältig und ausreichend, das Abendessen mit guter Auswahl. Alles in allem wirklich weiter zu empfehlen um einen guten Aufenthalt in der Karoo zu haben. ”

“We had a wonderful time staying at the Gumtree. The host was very sweet and helped us with great ideas of things to do and see while in the area. The breakfast was tasty with choices of hot and cold items, fresh made bread, and fresh fruit cups. The location was quiet, but within walking distance to good restaurants. ”
