“Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde. “A lovely old house with excellent bedrooms and kitchen area. The little private garden at the rear was very pleasant to sit in. Polo is a very helpful host. There are a lot of roadworks going on in the area but further into the old town are all the great sights and restaurants. ”
