Reit im Winkl, with its picturesque landscape, invites you to enjoy hiking, biking, golf, cross-country skiing, and downhill skiing, and serves as the perfect starting point for excursions in the surrounding area.
A spacious living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom, both comfortably and lovingly furnished in a traditional country-style. A cozy dining area provides space for shared meals and relaxing moments. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave and dishwasher. The bathroom features a shower and toilet. Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with cable, a radio alarm clock, a telephone, a hair dryer, and an in-room safe. From the west-facing balcony, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Unterberg, as well as the local mountain and the imposing Kaiser Mountains. Reit im Winkl, a climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “locations whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess properties that are beneficial for relaxation and health.” Reit im Winkl was designated a health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation ever since through its ongoing efforts. One key factor is its high elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderated and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the climate is largely determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air by utilizing natural heat sources and providing ample bus service.
