He loved playing in the snow and the property had a nice loop around the back that was easy to take him for a walk without having to go somewhere. “We had a fantastic time at this property. Very comfortable setting, everything you need is right there. We stayed out by the fire pit deep into the night and were lucky enough to hear a great-horned owl in the distance. “Nice cabin in a very cool remote area. My family had a great time, from catching crayfish minnows and frogs in the creek, to to kayaking in the floe, to catching brook trout while fly fishing. We had a small hiccup when we arrived but the owner took care of it quickly. Would highly recommend this to a family of 3 or 4 or just a couple for a relaxing getaway.”

“This cabin was beautiful and the outdoor space with the firepit is wonderful for smores. The porch out front is great for early morning breakfast (complete with a robin's nest with just hatched robins). A perfect place for our family with some great back roads for biking.”

“Wonderful area, extremely private and quiet. Cabin was cozy and had everything you could ask for. We were unable to enjoy the lake and fire pit because of the weather but enjoyed the wood stove. “Great cabin - clean, comfy beds and very quiet! Only complaint was the house water had an awful sulphur smell and we couldn’t drink it. Even taking showers & brushing teeth was unpleasant. Would suggest getting a whole house water filter and then the property would be 5 star!”

“Lovely stay at Henckley Reservoir. Emily & Kim(s) gave nice attention to detail like the waters and snacks available for excursions. We rented a pontoon boat and Andre was a great captain showing us around the lake first. Loved having a clean private beach to ourselves and the paddleboards and kayaks were easy to use. The view afternoon and evening was lovely including the loons. Thank you so much! Cabin was very comfortable and clean and up to date.”

“We had a wonderful time staying in this adorable cabin on over 90 acres. We loved sitting by the fire at night, and our dogs loved having plenty of open space to run and play. The kitchen is completely furnished with everything you'll need, and the location provided us with a quiet getaway. Michelle is a wonderful host who was quick to respond to my questions. “We had a great stay at this cabin! My husband and I traveled with our 6 month old baby and our friends who have an 18 month old to New York for the total eclipse, and this rental was a great home base for us during the trip. It had a great location and was only a short drive from Old Forge. The wood stove kept the cabin cozy at night and our hosts were so communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to other travelers looking for a rustic but cozy cabin experience.”

“Dealing with our host was great. I had to change dates and he was very helpful. The apartment is large with all things needed to cook. I loved the electric fireplace and huge TV in living room. I was mining so the entrance to hang jackets and boots before entering house was fantastic. Plenty of space to lounge and rest. The kitchen was great to cook. I love eating my own food so this is important. All the stores are literally 5 minutes away so you can buy good to cook everyday so it’s Fresh. I...
