“Our visit to Tully, Renvyle was the Ireland I wanted to experience. The drive through Connemara to get there was unforgettable, and once we arrived we were great with a small village right on the sea. We misread the arrival instructions, so we only gave John a 30-minute warning but he was ready for us when we arrived. Parking was free and just alongside the B&B. “We arrived at Renvyle House Hotel and were met by three receptionists who were super friendly and helpful. They arranged for someone to carry our cases to our rooms. Our rooms were very comfortable and had lovely views of the sea. Dinner and breakfast were brilliant with fresh fruit and breads made on the premises. “The accommodation is both a bar/restaurant and a b&b and sits next to the eastern pier about 400 metres from the ferry drop off. Despite my room being right above the bar - which was happy and full of chat - it was perfectly quiet in the evening. I had a great full Irish breakfast the next morning.
