Resort sciistico Minakami Kogen Fujiwara: Tour e Visite Guidate

Location is great, hotel is beautiful, and staff was gracious. We felt lucky to stay on the 2nd floor where the onsen was located, which was always quiet and never busy–it was SO GOOD we went every morning and every night of our 3 night stay! We did have a couple of things we hate to have to note because it was so close to being a perfect stay, but feel are kind of important-- 1) the room remained damp all 4 days, leaving our clothes and bedding feeling wet and we thought maybe it was just the rain, but this same issue didn't occur at our other hotels throughout the 10 days it rained in Japan unfortunately :(. Bonus is that there is a washer/dryer in the room, so we were able to dry some of our clothes as an immediate solution without having to bother the staff. 2) On day 2, the shower would strangely start to smell off-putting every now and then, a bit like sewage (perhaps the big typhoon rain we were caught in were taxing the sewage systems?). Thankfully by our 2nd night, we noticed the smell stopped returning. Even though we had these couple of issues, still, the onsen and overall vibe/service we experienced were so great, we'd return for a second time anyway if we were travel back.

L’albergo è in una posizione strategica vicino alla stazione di Ueno da dove si arriva ovunque facilmente a Tokyo e anche all’aeroporto di Narita. A pochi passi si trovano tantissimi ristoranti e negozi. La nostra stanza era pulita, moderna, di ampia metratura (che è una cosa rara in Giappone), con un letto comodissimo e ottimi servizi. La colazione era molto buona in un ambiente molto curato. É un albergo di ottimo livello e per quello che offre e nella zona strategica in cui si trova, direi ha un ottimo rapporto qualità e prezzo. Consiglio sia per brevi come lunghi soggiorni, noi ci siamo stati 3 notti.
