L'appartamento può ospitare 4 persone in due camere matrimoniali. Ha una cucina aperta completamente attrezzata e sala da pranzo, soggiorno a doppio aspetto con vista parziale sul mare e su Hallgrimskirkja e un bellissimo bagno in stile Art Déco. Pavimenti in rovere pieno / pavimenti in ardesia nera in tutto. Decorato e rinnovato con solo il meglio. Tutto ciò che puoi sognare è lì: schermo piatto, home cinema, connessione iPod, Wifi, lavatrice / asciugatrice, lavastoviglie, ferro da stiro, cucina completamente attrezzata - abbiamo pensato davvero a tutto!

1 - 5 minuti a piedi dall'appartamento

"Fai shopping fino allo sfinimento" a Laugurvegur, la principale via dello shopping con i suoi numerosi negozi esclusivi di design islandese, ristoranti, caffè, supermercato 24 ore su 24 ... Inoltre uno dei supermercati Bonus onnipresenti dell'Islanda e Sandholt, probabilmente il miglior forno di Reyjavik. Successivamente, vai e lasciati stupire dal Museo del pene (sì, davvero!). Quindi rinfrescati di nuovo a Sundhollin, la piscina più antica di Reykjavik con le sue caratteristiche originali degli anni '30 e le vasche idromassaggio sul balcone.

5 - 10 minuti a piedi dall'appartamento

Visita Hallgrimskirkja, l'Empire State Building in Islanda, una bellissima chiesa illuminata di colori di notte ... Basta camminare per strada e stare sulla costa dell'Islanda e godersi ... E dai un'occhiata anche a Solfar, la splendida scultura di Jon Gunnar Arnason di una nave vichinga, situata sull'acqua. Visita l'antiquariato e il mercatino delle pulci a Kolaportid.

Dai da mangiare alle anatre a Tjornin, il grande stagno cittadino. Successivamente, entra nel municipio e dai un'occhiata all'enorme mappa 3D di Reykjavik. Bevi un drink su Austurvollur, la principale piazza pubblica circondata dal Parlamento e Domkirkjan, la chiesa più antica della città. Non dimenticare di visitare Harpa, la nuova e ipermoderna sala da concerto di Reykjavik. Termina la giornata portandoti a vicenda a Perlan (il ristorante Pearl che si affaccia su Reykjavik) per una vera delizia dei sensi con la migliore vista nella città di Reykjavik.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The location is very central, the neighborhood is nice, and it was easy to get to without a rental car. The apartment had so much space and was a fantastic home base after long days adventuring through Iceland.

Great location! Quick walk to restaurants and shops. Close to the Hallgrímskirkja which is next to bus stop 8. Made for easy pick up and drop off for tours. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Sue was easy to contact and provided clear and useful information about the apartment and area.

Sue's apartment was wonderful. Exactly as pictured on the listing it had two comfortable bedrooms, one bath and an eat-in kitchen and living room. The apartment was clean, comfortable, light and super cute. It had every amenity you could want. Beds were comfortable and the apartment was quiet at night. Heat worked great. You do have to climb 2 flights of stairs to get there. We loved the location just at the east end of the busy restaurant/shopping area. Nothing was more than a 15 minute walk. The neighborhood and apartment felt very safe. Most importantly, Sue was a dream host. She was a great communicator, proactively sending tons of information about the apartment, the surrounding area and restaurants and responding promptly to any messages. Check in and check out were super easy with a coded key box. I would highly recommend staying at this apartment.

Sue was very responsive to any questions I had. Her unit was very well stocked and clean. The location couldn’t have really been any better. Even though downtown it was not noisy at night even with the windows slightly open. There were plenty of books to read and games and movies for the kids. I would definitely recommend.

Great experience, very nice apartment, located close to city center, close to airport and tours bus pick up. The place is modern, nicely decorated. Highly recommend. Host provided detailed instructions on checking in/check out, and super helpful guide to the city, activities, restaurants and other activities.

The apartment was perfect for a family of 4. Sue was incredibly responsive to all our emails and information about Iceland activities too! The Sunholin swimming pool was 2 mins walk and a superb pool for the family. We couldn’t have found a more ideally located apartment to all the cafes and restaurants and Reykjavík an ideal location for golden circle, whale watching, Nothern lights etc.

Great communication with the host. The lock box was frozen on arrival and we were able to get ahold of the host right away. Check in instructions arrived early and were very clear. The apartment is large and in a great location close to bus stop 9. The kitchen had great supplies. We loved all the windows. Great experience.

Fabulous location, apartment was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Exactly as per the description. Host was very accommodating to arrival and check out time and quickly replaceda broken kettle. . Only two concerns we had: staris to apartment were pretty steep with heavy cases and the entrance and stairs to apartment didn’t reflect the high standards ofthe apartment itself. We loved our 1 week stay at Sue’s apartment in Reykjavik. It was central and walkable to everything. She has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The beds were comfy, fully equipped kitchen and bath. It was close to good restaurants and great bakeries. The main shopping street just 2 blocks away. We saw great northern lights. Can’t wait to come again.

The property was large, clean, and in a great location! Communication with Sue was easy, she was so responsive to all of our questions. We really enjoyed our stay and felt at home in this place. It was very well stocked in the kitchen, and there was lots of information about area attractions, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. If we are back in Reykjavík, we will definitely try to stay here again!
