Downtown apartment

Everything was fantastic, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to, and we had covered parking for our rental car that we used for longer distances. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great pressure. We’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect Home Base in Reykjavik

This was great home base for us in Reykjavik. Property was as described and host was very accessible and informative. We were within walking distance to the harbor, shops and restaurants. Underground parking with heated driveway was nice. Very comfortable for a family of 4. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Home Away From Home in Reykjavik

I booked this apartment based on the detailed reviews from other guests. They were spot on! This home is located in the perfect area to walk to everything! There are so many restaurants and coffee shops in the harbor area alone, then just a couple of blocks - the main district. Even in the harshest of weather conditions, we were prepared with the right clothing and shoes (micro spikes a must in winter with ice). We walked everywhere! The tours pick you up at different stops and this apartment is super convenient to bus stops #4 and #15. At the bottom of the street and across the main drag there are tour offices if you didn't book online. Walking distance to Bonus and a couple of other grocery stores. The communication from Kristin, the property owner, was unbelievable! She sent suggestions for tours, shopping and dining in the area as well as really detailed information regarding the items in the apartment. She also checked in upon our arrival to make sure we were ok and everything was good. And then on departure day, checked in to say safe travels and thanks for staying. I would HIGHLY recommend this apartment and would stay again if I return.

Very nice condo near the old harbor

This condo is really good. It is centrally located, not far from the old harbor, has a garage parking space, and the unit itself is nicely decorated. We had all that we needed for a very comfortable stay. The hosts were very responsive to questions and quite helpful. I would happily stay there again.

Great property!

My partner and I visited for a long weekend and the property was perfect for our needs. Kristin was wonderful to work with and her recommendations on places to eat were great. The location cannot be beat and the parking was ideal. We had a wonderful time and if we make it back to Iceland will definitely stay here again!

Spectacular location for a visit to Iceland

This is a perfect spot to launch a visit in Iceland. First the communication with the host was excellent. They provided a wealth of information to plan our stay. From where to eat, grocery shop and tour it was invaluable. Second, any question we had was responded too within 24 hours on our stay. The apartment is the perfect size for two, and even has a fold out couch for two more people. All the amenities are there to prepare meals and enjoy a home cooked meal experience. The location could not be better, 5 minutes' walk from the old center, and 7 or 8 to the large glass music hall. That's where most of the tours meet if you schedule any. There are plenty of restaurants close to the apartment, in fact right across the street. There's a bakery around the corner, fresh bagels every morning. Two grocery stores 8-minute walk away, highly recommend using the grocery stores. Overall, the best Vrbo we have stayed at. I recommend on the basis of cleanness, host support, location, amenities and comfort.

What a great property

An excellent apartment right in the middle of everything. Great communication with the owner. The washer and dryer were so great to have after a week around Iceland. Would definitely use this place again on a return trip to Reykjavík

Perfect Condo!

My husband and I just spent a week here for our anniversary and loved the condo & Iceland! The condo was walkable to restaurants & bars and the garage parking was an added bonus! Kristin did an amazing job communicating with us and offering suggestions, etc. We would stay here again!!!!

Wonderful stay!!

We absolutely loved this apt!! Kristin and Oddur were very responsive and extremely friendly. Location cannot be beat- close to everything. Centrally located. Loved having an indoor garage with an elevator to take us up to our floor. We have been to Iceland many times and this apt is top on our list of places to stay. Coming back in 2 years and hope to stay here.

Stop looking - this place has everything!

Perfectly located for walking to excellent restaurants, the harbor, tour / bus pick-ups, The Harpa and the Reykjavik high streets, this little apartment is a clean, quiet nest with all the comforts of home - even free garage parking! Kristin deserves 100 Host Stars! Her 3 PAGES of local recommendations of what to see, eat and do is spot-on. She is responsive and welcoming in every way. This was our first time to Iceland but will definitely stay here when we return!

Great for Multiple Reasons

Kristin was very responsive to all questions and concerns both before, during and after our stay and also provided lots of suggestions on what was nearby to do/see, where to eat, grocery stores and other helpful info. Having the underground enclosed garage was a fabulous benefit to us as it was unusually bitter cold during our stay. We appreciated very much the clear and concise info on access, as well as what and how to use things. It is a quiet, warm and very cozy apartment and the two of us enjoyed our stay. As we had prior to our stay been touring the south for a week, being able to use the laundry for a few items was a huge benefit! We hope to return to Reykjavik in the next 2-3 years and if available would not hesitate for a second to rent from Kristin again! We made sure to follow all the necessary "check out" procedures and I believe left the location with ONLY the usual cleaning between guests stays to do.

Second Time Staying here and Highly recommend the ease of this apartment

The owner Kristin is immediately responsive! She was a wealth of info, including helping me find of all weird things a prom dress:) The apartment is very conveniently located, restaurants across the street, and easy access to everything in Reykavik. Having covered parking was a blessing! The elevator from parking to the apartment also incredibly helpful. My only improvements would be a coffee table (to put a drink on while sitting on the couch) and a couch blanket:) Will stay here again!

Perfect apartment/location

We had a great stay in this perfectly located apartment. Kristin was extremely responsive and provided great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. The apartment was clean and well appointed. I can't say enough about what a great location this apartment is in. There were numerous restaurants and bars just steps away. It is also steps away from the harbour and whale watching excursions which was very convenient. We couldn't have asked for a better fit for our family. If there was one thing to improve, I would say the non-stick pan might need replacing.
