Lovely little hotel for my one night in Reykjavik. In the center of everything, very easy walk to all sites. Comfortable and attractive room and very fast room service.

Loved the hotel! Very friendly and accommodating except we were asked to leave a common area where we gathered for night caps. They asked “nicely” for us to move downstairs away from the front desk. That seemed rude as we were not disturbing anyone. Otherwise, a lively stay and easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. They made taxi arrangements at a moments notice.

We arrived in the evening of Easter Sunday and the front desk staff was so helpful with getting us a restaurant that was staying open, and was close by. She also helped us get bus reservations back to the airport. So pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is very close to shopping areas, dining, and many interesting attractions. Was not well informed about the foot soak by the gym. Hotel does not have a pool. Otherwise, very nice.

When you think about Europe, you generally imagine a small room with cramped amenities that is trying to maximize opportunities to host guests. This hotel definitely goes against the grain of that trend, with generous spaces, wonderful and comfortable amenities, and super helpful 24 hour staff. This is an experience that you would expect at a Langham or other great hotel of the world, and completely exceeded my expectations.

Great place to stay and will again.
Great location. Next to bus stop 1, 2 and 3 for easy pickup/dropoff. Close walk to restaurant area. Friendly and helpful front desk service. Ours had heated bathroom tiles during our winter stay.

Perfect stay, recommend it.
Simply a great stay, friendly staff, clean and warm look and feel, comfortable room and bed. Great shower, large screen TV. climate control worked flawlessly (quite and no wind turbine feeling). Tried the spa, nothing but good.

Great Hotel.
Perfect hotel. Great location to walk into the City. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast a little basic but that seems typical. Room excellent. Staff all friendly.

Excellent & Convenient Hotel
Hotel Reykjavik Saga - Front desk staff - friendly, welcoming, and very helpful with navigating bus stops, taxis. Hotel was beautiful, very well maintained, extremely clean. Rooms were very spacious; beds perfectly comfortable. Breakfast buffet, slightly pricey, but lots of choices and quite delicious. Hotel is very conveniently located in town and near two bus stops. Walking distance to some shopping and good restaurants. I rarely complete surveys, but this hotel was excellent and deserves recognition. I definitely recommend this hotel; I would stay here again. The entire staff was wonderful, the LOCATION is great, across from Bus stop. So many Shops and Restaurants and markets all super close. # eateries just four doors down from this Hotel! Shout out to Michelle and Ludvig for making perfect reservations for tours and easy instructions.

I did no enjoy my stay. awful restaurant hours awful room service unless you go downstair and order in person & pay. Tv only works if you use you phone. no local channels, Room service only pay by phone but it dosen't work you must go and pay in person downstair, awful restaurant hours 6pm to 10pm. the room are very small and very bright lights, some how the lights in the room started to turn on by them selfs from 11:30pm to 6am about (7) times (imagine that ). what I hated the must is that you can't close and lock the door from the inside. room service will know one time and open door to ask if I need it towels.. there is not a (do not disturb sign in the room). so they walk in anytime of the day. did not like that.

It had great beds! Not right on the restaurant streets but within 2 blocks. Felt like a business hotel. Breakfast was good but spendy and staff was grumpy.

Everything was great. Room was modern and clean. Bed was comfy. Seamless shower was cool but a bit difficult to maintain the main bathroom area dry. No parking at hotel so had to park on the street. But overnight parking from 6pm - 9am is free.
