Electric blankets were required to be used, but unfortunately one of the side (mine!) of the double electric blanket wasn't functioning. "We had a family Christmas in winter, and while it didn't snow it was cold weather. But the house was lovely and warm with the heat pump and the wood heater. Very comfortable and had everything you would want. Would highly recommend."
