- Staying on an active volcano means the cabin uses natural well water. While the water is filtered for safety, it may have a slight sulfur smell
- Please note that this charming ~100-year-old cabin has naturally settled over time, creating a slight slope in some areas. Rest assured, it remains on solid footing in its well-established resting place
- There are other bookable vacation rentals on-site, other travelers may be present during your stay. The shared beach access and yard space allow for connection with nature and fellow travelers
- You will need a car to get around, and in winter 4WD, chains or snow tires are often required in snowy/icy conditions. Shuttles go up to the mountain ski areas with pickup locations just down the road from the cabin
