Baite a Rice Lake

“Parking was a nightmare, people with big trailers took up pretty much the whole parking lot, so we had to find a random spot. Hard to find where our cabin was but once we did, we were happy with how it looked inside. No swimming area outside really. Slippery rocks & no sand. Inside was great, nice towels & beds & amenities. In a good location for people who want to go do a lot of tourist stuff. Cabins are very close to each other be warned.”

“As other times, this was our favorite get away. Everything is nice, private, quiet, and a short walk to everything in downtown Hayward. Love it! Would not book through Expedia again though. That experience messed us up. Enough said....”

“Very quiet resort , cabin had everything we needed .. we enjoyed fishing and the golfing area. It’s an older cabin but very clean and comfortable beds”

“Communication from the host was really good. There was a power outage ahead of our arrival and Lynn did a good job of keeping us updated with what was going on. Cabin was very comfortable and cozy! We got to watch the lake freeze over night. If you are thinking about renting, I wouldn't hesitate.”

“Absolutely loved this cabin. Close to walking to everything we wanted. They had everything we needed, just needed to bring our clothes and groceries. Beautiful view, peaceful, clean, reasonable price and safe. I would defintely stay here again.”

“This was a gem!!! We spent out one year anniversary here and it was everything we could dream of! We ended up visit the log cabin and bought a new fire poker for back home and got food there for lunches! We went to a little gem of a bookstore in Gilbert that you have to see! We sat by the fire and gossiped and sat in the hot tub. It was serene and peaceful”

“The cabin was cute and cozy and perfect for our party of two. The winter weather was not an issue getting to or from the cabin and we had everything we needed with beautiful views of the frozen lake. The host was very responsive and helpful. ”

“When we checked in the cabin was dirty. There were cooked tater tots in the oven. Toilets were dirty . Concerns about stairs going to the lake are rotting way. Definitely not safe the hand rail go up the stairs is very lose and the first step going in bad shape aslo. The view from the deck is nice. The dock is definitely wouldn't go on .”

“This house was super clean, communication was phenomenal but not having a dock access since the water was down really stinks. However, that was well communicated to us in advance. There were a couple of issues with house- front door doesn’t open all the way due to the flooring being uneven. Not a huge deal, but made it hard to carry in luggage or backpacks. “The cabin is clean, prepared well with comfortable beds, dishes, soap, towels, washcloths, outdoor seating. Cabin is safe and close to many amenities of Hayward. The pictures of the cabin are spot on. Comfortable and Cozy!! Can’t wait to visit again!Communication with the host is excellent.”
