Hotel vicino a Rice's Beach - Boston

“Cute little lodge . The front desk is open only 9 to 5. Provisions are made for coming and going after hours. Parking is directly behind the building. Free 8pm to 8am . 50 cents an hour otherwise. Easy to pay with app. Location is convenient for theaters and restaurants. You can walk everywhere. Hotels in this area are very high priced and this one is no exception, but a little less than the big chains. We therefore chose the least expensive room with a king bed as we were staying only 1 night...

“The grounds are stunningly beautiful. The room was clean and the staff were very inviting. The room had a mini fridge, but no microwave. There was a microwave, as well as cold filtered water and cups just a short walk down the hall.”

“This property is beautiful. The bed was so incredibly comfortable and we loved our stay! The bathroom was huge and we loved that there were bunk beds for the kids. We wished we could have stayed more than 1 night here! The small kitchen was really nice as well.”

“Everything was lovely. Great owners. Be aware that Salem does not allow for inns to cook full breakfasts for guests. If you are allergic to or sensitive to cats, be aware that the owners have several cats.”

“Generally ok. Hotel seemed low on resources. Check in closes after 6pm and no one on site; it felt deserted. That said, we were welcomed with very a friendly, informed, efficient front of house - coffee tea and water available. Apparently, the hotel has changed hands and has new management - no breakfast available. We complained - we were grateful for a generous refund. “Beautiful property & grounds . Extremely well appointed and clean . Staff was excellent. Didn’t get a chance to visit the restaurant as it was closed for a private event , but looked very nice . A wedding was taking place onsite while we were there . Very nice spot to consider for a small intimate wedding”
