“Lovely apartment in a historic building, ideally located just outside the city centre, but within easy walking distance of all places of interest in York. Nice touch of leaving a bottle of bubbly in the fridge - a good sign that the hosts are attentive. The apartment itself is well furnished and equipped, and really does feel like a home from home. “I had such a wonderful experience. The room was very nicely decorated and top of the line. Everything was beautiful, clean, lots of amenities. I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. “A truly wonderful stay over the festive period. The new spa is lovely and room 452 was SO quiet and spacious, highly recommended. The only downside which I pointed out two years ago is that the shower lets the room down as it’s not powerful enough and looks dated too. A short taxi ride or lovely walk into the centre with everything you could wish for. Please note valet parking is £39.50 and the Soa £45 per person in addition to the room. “A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre. Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid. There is outdoor space however it is shared and a small shadowy courtyard. Doesn't look used at all. The flat is a funny layout. “Warm, welcoming staff who go out of their way to correct any and all concerns Very cute rooms, warm and cozy, nicely decorated. Clean, modern bathrooms. Great neighborhood, easy walk to the city center, easy for Uber rides, and some phenomenal restaurants only steps away: Chinese noodle soups, coffee/bakeries, and the Rose and Crown tavern, which has the best meat pies, Sunday roast and sticky toffee pudding ive had yet in England. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“Meraviglioso pub in centro a York, a due passi dalla stazione dei treni (10 minuti a piedi!) staff veramente gentilissimo e disponibile, ci hanno tenuto i bagagli in attesa del check in e anche all’uscita. Camere pulite e dotate di ogni comfort. Se tornerò a York lo risceglierò (ha anche un garden esterno e il parcheggio!”
