I know the local area well and this hotel is the most reasonably priced in this area. Very clean and the staff is exceptional. Our bags were carried to our room without asking for help. They accept pets which is hard to find. There is a large dining room that can be used for meetings or banquets. Highly recommend.

Front desk staff was great and very helpful finding us a restaurant nearby they thought we would like. Room was very clean and super fast internet was great for streaming. The woman doing the checking in grabbed our bags and carried them straight to our room nobody does that anymore! Great room for us, No Complaints whatsoever.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, They recommended some excellent dining options that turned out to be fabulous. Center of town was only one block away. We had to call front desk since the tv was so new we had no idea how to operate it. They came in a minute and spent a good half hour teaching us how to operate it. We had a nice room with no complaints!!

Only 20 minutes to the Baseball Hall of Fame with one red light. Mattress and box spring have been updated and provided an excellent nights sleep. We had a pet and could not beat the price and found this hotel on our way to Cooperstown. We did have to change the batteries on the remote but they had them available. This was a great find in a quiet area, very nice staff and close to stores, restaurants and points of interest. Thank you for all the memories!

We were pleased with the hotel room, only a short distance to Cooperstown. The room was very comfortable and clean. The woman who checked us in carried all our luggage to our room without hesitation. The room was a little small but very cozy. Plenty of towels and blankets provided and the bathroom was very clean. We were very comfortable and they had everything we needed. 5 stars all the way.

After a long drive we were able to relax at a Hotel that was able to accommodate our dog. The property was immaculately clean and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Very reasonable priced especially with a pet. Everything was as expected and would definitely stay here again.

The room is exceptionally clean and smells fresh and the fire in the fireplace was setting a glow off in the whole dining room. Everything was very walkable to all that is in Richfield Springs. Hotel is centrally located and located close by multiple cut shops, good food and a beautiful park, Definitely recommend.

Needed a place to stay to attend wedding in Cooperstown. This property was spotless and wonderful. It also allows pets which was important to us. Kitchen has plenty to be able to cook if you want. plus Washer/Dryer. The place was just as listed and convenient to all the places we had to go. All beds and linens are new. Can’t wait to come back!

Property upgrade with gas fireplaces in the building and some rooms, very nice touch and beautiful surrounding glow of radiant heat. Needed extra pillow and it was there in 5 minutes. Check in went well, it was very easy. We would stay again.

We had a really nice room with a new fire[lace set up for gas heat. Location was perfect and easy to find, many attractions in town with a beautiful park in the center. The manager was very friendly and helpful, carried our bags and gave us directions to the restraints, The beds were comfortable and every thing was really clean. .

Beds were super comfortable and the room just got a fireplace. Great location and easy to get to. Large park a block from hotel with antique gazebo. A great stay in Richfield Springs.

We were asked to go instead to the ”Lakehouse” Very Unique, nostalgic property. Room itself was very small and outdated but was okay. Restaurant on property was good. Nice staff and very accommodating.

Even though it’s called The Baseball Hotel it does not have ANYTHING related to baseball. Has a musty smell and everyone has to share a single fridge from the 1950s.

We were booked to stay at the baseball hotel and the place changed the location of our stay to some Lakeside Lodge. What a dump. Never again. My grandson would not sleep in his bed because there were spiders in it. When we arrived around 7:30 pm no one was there our key was hanging in the door to the room. How sketchy is that! If it wasn’t already 7:30 I would have driven around to find a different place. Not worth the money I spent that’s for sure

The Baseball Hotel has absolutely nothing to do with baseball, but it is a fantastic old house. It definitely needs some updates but overall it was a decent stay.

Since COVID we have not been able to offer breakfast nor do we advertise breakfast. We think it is advertised on Hotels.com. We have notified them more than once. They guarantee that they will update of listing and they don't. We are so sorry you were disappointed.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating; however, facilities were dusty, room was tiny, and the bathroom was barely large enough to turn around in. Also, because of the name of the hotel, we were expecting more of a baseball vibe, which was definitely not evident. There also was no breakfast (not even coffee), as advertised.

Our staff's goal is to make our guests happy and content. If you thought your room was too small, perhaps they could have moved you to a larger room. As an antique building, the bedrooms are historically smaller than the bedrooms we are all used to in homes built today. We appreciate your business and thank you for staying with us. We have not been able to offer breakfast since COVID. Hotels.com still advertise it even though we have tried to update our listing with them. We are so sorry you were disappointed.

Lovely property right on the lake. The staff in the office, restaurant and bar were all very friendly! On the water and very accessible to town. The location is ideal, and we enjoyed the bar. The room was comfortable and clean! We will definitely be back!

As you know, antique buildings have smaller bedrooms that we are used to- we live in our bedrooms more than people did when this building was built. Next time you stay with us, please request a first floor bedroom. Our goal is a happy guest. We will make sure the room is convenient for you.

Surrounding neighborhood is run down but quiet. Very friendly staff at hotel and an old fashion homey feel. The town is nice and 20 minutes away from Cooperstown ballpark. Overall it was a nice atmosphere and nice place to stay😊

Disappointing hotel with misleading description
There is nothing baseball-related at The Baseball Hotel other than it's in the same state as Cooperstown. The place was apparently a Jewish men's bath house at one time which is OK, but the building is OLD. Don't be fooled by promise of free breakfast. Nothing is offered or even available including coffee. The location is best described as grungy; the street and immediate area are not maintained or attractive in any sense. What looks to be a vacant building is in back. The room and bathroom are small. No place to set items as the sink rim is narrow and there's no shelf. If I didn't arrive late and wasn't so tired I would have left but there's few other places in this area. The only redeeming quality is a nearby diner that serves a great breakfast.

Charming Hotel and steps from the heart of town. Beautiful location, nice room with new beds and linens and daily service. TV service worked properly, needed to change remote, otherwise, the stay was so comforting and peaceful. The staff here are amazingly helpful and not over bearing. Stay here.

Came as perspective travel nurse for a local hospital to check out the accommodations for a 3 month stay. I found the property to be ideal for what I need working nights I need a quite location for daytime sleeping. Bed was extremely comfortable and I have a furnished kitchen. Staff was always on hand if I needed help with anything. I did decide to book the 3 month stay at the Baseball Hotel.

Nice, clean hotel. Beds were newer with nice sheets and blankets. Room was very clean. Hotel itself is old from the mid 1800s, so if you do not like that sort of accommodations try another place. Quick and professional check-in. Reasonable priced room .

Wonderful room, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities. My car would not start in the morning and a man doing laundry gladly gave the car a jump and it started right up. Kudos to the staff at the hotel for their help.This is one the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time.

The hotel was awesome. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Conveniently located within walking distance of a grocery store and a couple of fast food restaurants. Facility is in need of some minor maintenance. Our truck would not start in the morning and a staff member gladly gave us a jump start to get us going. They are providing exceptional service and a welcoming environment for their guests.

We came for a playoff game of Hockey in Utica and some of our team stayed at this hotel. Others stayed at the Lake House. The outside of the Inn is gorgeous, and exceptionally clean! I really, really recommend it! It is close to Cooperstown and Utica. I will definitely stay here each time I visit the region. Very reasonable rates and great for travelling with a group of Hockey players.
