“The property is quite secluded and down a very long and narrow gravel road, so getting to and from Viroqua and activities took longer than we anticipated. The cabin was in a very nice secluded area but also it was close enough of a drive to enjoy area attractions. It is a three level cabin and gave us plenty of space to move around. We were lucky enough to see two does and a fawn in the yard. ”

“This cabin is very cozy, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch for all of our meals and coffee in the morning. There are other cabins there, but you still feel like you’re out in the wilderness. The only thing you have to be mindful of are the steps going to the second story. They are very steep. “Quiet and cozy cabin across the street from the Kickapoo River. Perfect size for two to take a quiet getaway for a time. Much to see in the Readstown and Viroqua area and Kickapoo Valley. Excellent hiking trails, restaurants/ bars and shopping within a short drive. LeAnne was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again in the future.”

Located in a nice little town with a decent grocery store for all the necessary items. We used it as our homebase for adventures in the area, perfectly close to Cave of the Mounds, House on the Rock and Wisconsin Dells”
