“This facility is a fairly nice hotel. It was a little pricey for this weekend, but must have been lots going on other than the Apple Cup Stockcar Race. Racers use to frequent this hotel, but very few stayed this weekend. Way too expensive for them. It increased to double the former price. The breakfast was good, but slightly unusual. Breakfast food, instant eggs, hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, biscuits, gravy & sausage, muffins, cereal, but also chicken strips & fries.”

“This place is horrible if you book thru Expedia they will take your room away and give it to someone else. It’s a joke came in at 10.00 pm after a long day at the race track and they cancelled our reservation without leaving a voice message on my phone. Cowardly way of doing business. ”

“Hotel was undergoing renovations in common areas. No carpet, fixtures removed, partially stripped paint on walls, etc. etc. Looked pretty bad and was NOT advertised when I booked the room. Room was clean and functional. Staff were great. Breakfast was your typical serve yourself continental buffet. Fantastic river walk and park behind the hotel with no direct access to it. ”

“Very nice staff. Beautiful location. My only complaint, very minor, is that the room had a bit of a mildew smell to it. I would definitely stay again and hope for a better room tho! ”
