STAY AWAY FROM THIS SNEAKY HOTEL!
We unfortunately reserved in February 2020 a one night staying for the 12nd of August, way before the covid19 happened in US. Then after Pandemy spreaded, all flights from Italy and Europe to US were cancelled, so we asked for a simple refund or a voucher. California was in lockdown and there was no chance to travel there: no teletransportation available yet, but they didn't want to refund a single night like all hotels all over the world are doing. Expedia has not helped at all.
Moreover, you won't find the hotel email (try to check!), this is a proof of their sneaky behavior. No way to get an answer even via phone. Once found their manager's email (got through Choice Hotel chain, since they're a franchising) they just didn't answer or started to fool around. After one month and a half of requests via email, we received from the hotel manager the confirmation about the refund, but here is what happened: THEY CHARGED US AGAIN ON THE SAME CARD FOR THE SECOND TIME AFTER MONTHS INSTEAD OF GETTING REFUNDED! We're now going to report to the police and block the card, because we have all the proof via email. Stay away from this hotel, with incapable and cheaters! You will hear about this story around internet, trust me.
Very bad experience also through Expedia, since they're allowing these very bad things to happen and allow these scam hotels to be on their site.
